Who is going to change there Avatar?

I plan not to but then it depends on how I look when I arrive. I find the tweaking thing difficult and can spend ages doing it and not be able to notice the difference after ward :).

 

I took pre vu screenie of my face, will take screenie of my face aftehr the VU, and might redo ava if not good

 

I am hoping my avatar will stay pretty much the same, I may alter my skin tone and my mouth but thats it I think

 

I totally missed the muscle tone settings last time so i ended up with stick man. I think my ava will have gone to the gym a bit when he returns in vu 10

 

Now that I have the chance to change it slightly I will definately try and get black hair and a better haircut lol I would like to make it look as much as me in real life if possible, now that would be awesome! what U think? ;)

 

Some people do try to do that and have even got quite close in VU 9, certainly would be a challenge. Me, well I'll tell you a secret but don't let anyone else know, I'm not really bald! Shhhhhh :).

Depends on what mess MA makes of the avatars this time around.
If the avatar looks similar to VU9 then I'll probably leave it at that. I certainly won't be spending peds yet again for a special hairstyle that gets reset each VU. :hehe:

 

I'm definitely going to take advantage of this! My thighs were awesomely horrendously quirky.

 

I really appreciate that MA did manage to replicate my avatar very closely from VU9 to VU10. :ok:

Worth mentioning, is that when you first login, you have the opportunity to reset or tweak avatar appearance. Once accepted then you do not get the opportunity again. Beware of rushing past the avatar stage to get ingame, especially if you are using a low spec computer, or maybe login from work, laptop etc? I recommend trying to do this first login using the best spec computer you have available, so that you can actually see the graphics and get the avatar looking as you want it to.
An example is that a low spec comp might not display your hairstyle, you select Accept, and then realise that ingame your avatar is bald.

 

That's what happened to me! That's my story and I'm sticking to it :).

I was lucky I looked pretty much the same so just accepted as I was but there may be other things I could now be changed that were not previously available.

I want to keep my AV the same, but I couldn't change it anyway even if I wanted to. I can zoom in/out with the mouse wheel but cannot select any of the buttons, such as 'Accept' with the arrow-keys, so I logged a support case...

 

Bunny did not look to bad so I kept her the way she was and hit accept. This is how I came out. NOT HAPPY MA!!!!!!

 

:) ur not bald whattt??? lol just kidding. I just had a go and I think I did pretty well, only I gave myself yellow contacts, a little bit taller (as I am 5ft 7) But I did get close to hairstyle so I think I did pretty well. Once I get back on I put on a photo of my avatar & of my myself. thanks to MA for allowing the changes. :)

 

I have noticed big differences in the appearance depending on the lighting, try going somewhere brighter however it looks OK to me other than a graphics issue.
