here is my stats on marry mahem I started with a 220 ped LR32 and 288 ped for ammo I managed 2 globals of 141, 107, and 1 Hof of 1612. after the end time i have 138 ped left no gun, and 1596 (TT value) of loot left. that = +1226 - 26 on heal kit, = profit close to 1200 ped even if i am not in the top 100 i still won!
Thought i would throw some numbers your way on this Winner of Cat II with 91,195 points in 29h, 20m ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lets see 30 hours = 108,000 sec 91,195 point @ 5 point each is 18,239 kill at 5 points do a Champion @ 1020 HP each ----------------------------------------------------------------- fun part the weapon LvL 49 or less ????? best i could find was LvL 47 CB28(L)+RapMan(L)= 74.6 DMG/Sec -------------------------------------------------------------- 108,000 sec x 74.6Dmg/sec = 8,056,800 damage average 18,239 kills x 1020 HP's = 18,603,780 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- so he got 2.308 times more damage then his skills would allow ---------------------------------------------------- is some thing is wrong here
that brings up a good question ?Teams? A team of 5 kills a champion each member of the team should be awarded 1 piont each. If 10 on the team each should get .5 points each.... but it looks like the rules were Looter takes all even the pionts or a 10 person team was getting 50 points on a Chanpion. what do you think?
MA ****ed up (once again). Now a single person has no chances, as the person to loot the mobs gets all the points.
The individual who performed the loot action got the points. That individual could either hunt solo or in team. If in team he didn't have to do the most damage or even shoot at all, as long as he was the one clicking to loot when the mobs were down. Merry Mayhem has always been a team event pretty much, earlier years when teaming wasn't allowed people instead hired shooters that helped bringing down the HP of the mobs. Without doing more damage than the one who were competing of course to make sure he got the loot and the points. Managing a top 10 place entirely solo is impossible if it's not like it was in category 4 this year where not many at all bothered about competing. I think place 9 and 10 there did it solo. I am quite sure the rest 38 that finished in the top 10s were teams. I did a few hours in the team of "Samanta Samanta Green" who finished 10th in the Feffoid category, we were 4-5 people most of the time there. I also helped Menace 2 Society ("Phoenix Conquista de la Nova") in category 4 for a couple hours, they had over 20 people shooting. Still wasn't enough for the top spot :)
I will do it again next year, the oppertunity of hitting a big one is better with that many ppl shooting the same mob. but i will not spend that much ped on a chance at ( armor ). I found a better amp that would rais the dmg/sec up by 12.... here is only part of the cost on that first place win (if using the numbers above) that setup above is around 2.843 dmg/pec @ 18,603,780 dmg to aquire the 91,195 point to win cost ---------------------------------------------------------------- 6,543,714pec (or) 65,437.14 ped :) -------------------------------------------------------------- Pleas correct me if I did something wrong
That is the average dmg/sec not the max. And only the decay and ammo of the gun and amp there is still a m/u on the guns and amps decay of armor, and heal kit. gun (L) is 473 ped @ 157% m/u at a decay rate 6.664 at 50 shoots a min. (max shots 6885) amp (L) is 81 ped @ 123% m/u at a decay rate 1.820 (max shots 431) max shots in 30 hours is 90,000 he would need 13 guns and 21 amps the m/u is 391ped on amps and 3,505 on guns = 3,896 ped in m/u ;) the price of that Prize Armor is sill going up;)
You are correct Anna :) he would have had to do 2.308 X more to acheve those points scratches head ? how do i figure that one ? Edited ADD pic below I was No. 111 of 200
IronKnight, there was no restriction about the team members profession levels, as long as the looter/competitor was within the category. You could have a guy at level 100 sporting a Mod Merc as support in Category 1 for example. Also, that 2.308x number you mention... It was simply a team competing, explains it? And I am also sure the winner in category 2 had well over 10 people in team, as Samanta Samanta Green who finished 10th had like 5 people in team in average over the 30 hours and got 40% of the winner's score.
I Did, and got what I set out to do! But, what did the 1st place " Mayhem Helmet + Full set of Angel Armor, SGA Edition " Cost the winner ?. I am willing to bet it was around 74.5K ped. Do you think those people help him or her win 1st place, at a loss to themself?
A very good point, IronKnight. It would be interesting (and somewhat amusing) if the cost to win a place was more expensive than the actual prize items.
Won't argue with your estimation of 74.5k. Just want to mention that just because they cycled 74.5k it doesn't mean they lost that much, they got loot back you know ;) But yes I think there were quite a few in the top 10 lists that did lose quite a bit and that the prize they got didn't make up for it. I suppose the people that helped out in team either got paid for their expenses or they made it a regular team hunt with stack share so that the team members risked some themselves as well.
