Not sure if it's a false positive or not. Be careful till we hear different everyone. I keep getting this on EF and hearing similar reports. just a heads up in case.
will take a look to, so get a confirmation, thanx for the warning [edit] first look suggests there are indeed problems, got the Adobe thingy popup and some other stuff to. looks like the same problem again, getting the same .exe file in my processes again a I did the last time.
Yeah was just back to check, and getting the adobe popup thing again too... Neo really needs to shut the ads off for now ---------- Post added at 19:16 ---------- Previous post was at 18:55 ---------- 711 shut the ads off over there and it's stopped again. just fyi.
yeah i just got that well some win32 thing avast and MSE said it was malware. sort ur fucking forum out 711
www.gamersHQ.com has the same problem ... oh wait ... that's one of 711's sites as well, mmmmm [edit] OK that was bad of me. The google adds are gone now and the problem seems gone, weird problem if you ask me
I'm still getting the ads on some pages. User CP, efd store, pms...most of the links at the top of page still have ads. I sent 711 the info with pages i still see ads...not sure if he's still online though.
There is the add on the top of the page, but that doesnt seem to be the problem. It was the one on the right of the page that is gone now that caused it I think.
I was trying it out without being logged in and I got those adds on the right of the page. When those are there (so when I am not logged in) I get the virus warning. When those adds are not there (when I am logged in) I don't get the virus warning. Looks like it is a problem with the Google adds on the right side of the page when you are not logged in. take a look here, the problem seems to be knows http://news.cnet.com/8301-27080_3-20000898-245.html http://blog.avast.com/2010/02/18/ads...93-jsprontexi/ ---------- Post added at 00:30 ---------- Previous post was at 00:21 ---------- yep no warning anymore for me either
well.... if its the adverts thats causing it, and even more importantly adverts from google, i highly reccomend you all get Firefox with this plugin: http://adblockplus.org/ It removes every single advert on the internet :)
