Will Mindark repair my vehicle for me?

    Yesterday I was flying across Amethera to get to somewhere when I'm told that I'm nearing a toxic zone. In the next split-second or so I'm then also told that 'the area you are trying to enter is currently unavailable.' No matter which way I tried to go, including the direction I had come from, I kept getting the same message. Even if I just tried to turn, the same thing happened - so I was stuck. The only way of getting out of this was using the T-key option for getting to a revive point. Reloging wouldn't have made any difference, I would still have been stuck in the vehicle. So I used the T-key option only to find out that the vehicle was grounded nearby and that it had suffered considerable structural damage that I will have to repair at cost to myself. So I logged a support case claiming that MA should foot the bill.

    Or you just park your vehicle near a TP and some random player will repair it for you....

    I couldn't get to a TP, I was stuck. Why would somebody repair it for me?

    I've run into this once.. I re-logged and found that myself standing next to my vehicle on the ground. Vehicle was not harmed.

    But I agree, MA should foot the bill for your repairs since it was a software issue that did the damage.

    True people repair stuff all the time at twin and the like, for free - I think for the skills. But you are right MA should really repay the damage. Good luck though. I imagine you might be in for a bit of a wait.

    Didn't think of the extra skills factor. Thought healers were always charging ped. I'm prepared to wait for a while, not too long though, as I don't really want to get a repair kit, seeing as I was determined to play as eco a possible from the start.

    I'll gladly repair your vehicle. Presently stationed on the Kronan working on my VSE level but can fly over and crank out your repair for free..

    Mindark refused to compensate which I find beyond belief seeing as it was an in-game bug that caused the whole thing, so your help's really appreciated.

    Its a bad bug, ya. There are even worse ones were your vehicle gets damaged.
    But you can also get out of the vehicle and and then (try to) click it fast via mouse and pick it up via fastkey.

    p.s.
    There are indeed many ppl that repair for free at Twins. Free skills, you know. ;)

    Sry, will be working at that time. Fastest I can get online would be 9pm and I would have to fly from Ark so it would be more like 9:30 game time.

    Let me know if that works for you.

    I can probably be in game at that time, and I'll do it for you....although as others have mentioned, if you go to twin, and spawn it, usually someone will repair it within minutes...

    The structural damage I received was quite bad, not a total rightoff but certainly needs a repair kit. I thought of getting out of the aircraft but I was near a toxic zone so might have got fried before I could click on it.

    9.30 game time today would be ok, should be on PA mall roof at that time.

    You can always recall your vehicle to your storage no matter where it is. Should be able to find the button in the book.

    I did recall it - could see it way off in the distance flat on its back, but the item info told me it was damaged anyway.

    In the end I got some welding wire and VRK-5 so no need now.

    Not at all, I appreciated the offer but in the end it wasn't in my nature to go to camp iccarus or wherever and ask for a freebie, so I bought the vrk instead.
