Monria - The most boring sandbox ever (video)

Uhhm ... "Jamiras 1st trailer for Monria"? What do you mean? I never made trailers. Just the apartments at Monria because Akoz asked me for and my sister wanted a party area with pool to dance, drink and have fun and fashion shows. Seriously, I don't have any clue what all this Cuthullu-Gedöns means.

At least I could sell my penthouse for 5 or 6k PED. So it was worth it. Hahaha!

 

Nope. It was this other lady. She asked me for assistance and we had a short take at my apartment. I don't even know how to operate a camera ;-)

 

There was another promotion video. Akoz + company made it before Monria's launch. I was impressed of it. Also they ordered a halfway professionally written story from a story-teller. I had to obligate to keep it secret.

All in all from start I was in doubt if this project would become successful. But I didn't care much about it as long as I was able to drop my personally cowpat at Entropia Universe ;-)

You won't be able to jump through windows or walls at my original SolidWorks model of the apartments. As the name of the software says: They are "solid" ;-)

 

even the crafting thing that pulls people there isn't great. You have to loot certain blueprints in that quest and it ain't easy. I stayed a few weeks trying about a half year ago, but couldn't get the quest completed even when I looted the bps in question... Also since it's part of calypso, 9 out of 10 bps you loot are dupes of stuff in caly's books.

 

awwww, I am at Monria for the first time now; and you're telling me I can walk outside of mob zones; find mining claims.

After a mining expedition I must say; I found nothing outside of the craters. But at least I found an easy way to the shub TP

BTW, there is still a wally shelving somewhere on the west side of the main crater. have fun with it when you find it.

 

Monria sucks balls.

I donated over 2 years of my time there, created the Monria Advisor program myself, and was the only active advisor for some time. I have done so much to help the planet, then the new owners just don't like me on a personal level and kick me from the team. That is just fucked up.


They are overbearing, over controlling freaks. Monria is a shithole anyways now, with these new horrid owners it will just waste a shitload of ped.
I have already had many players boycott it entirely, and many more will when/if I start a particular anti monrian advertising campaign on my website pedtoclick after I get my withdrawal (don't want to piss off MA, lol)

I camped monria for some time, if you are a hunter and love to hunt alone in an area its great xD lots of globals as its just the mobs and you.

I agree hp lovecraft would turn around in his grave though lol

Another great theme blown by entropia platform in a cineastic trailer which suggests something cool and leaves you thinkin after arrival^^

One thing i actually liked was mikass putting a nice music stream in the planet. When you played there the extern music soma.fm stream brought the dark horror music. Just everything MA developed was not finished, bugged or just way behind hp lovecrafts possibilities and quality.

A pity the lore was not used properly.

 

Hehe I knew you would have fun breaking Monria. Cool music btw. I like that your got into that bit at the very end I didn't get in there when I went. I had the same death fall as you into the higher level mob cave too.

When I was there the mobs were pretty plentiful but the later ones were too high for a newbie like me. I guess it has fallen into disrepair like Next Island did.

You know I had a new player contact me today to ask if I have any influence with support in helping them get help starting the game (some secret island bug is breaking the game apparently)... crazy that I'm somehow being found as a potential support route. The only connection I have to MA is that my ava is in some of their support material and I know someone who worked on the magazine.

I asked for details. The message was a little vague. Not something I could make a support ticket out of*. They seemed to be having trouble starting playing (as a newbie) because Secret Island won't download and gives an error. I told them as much as I (thought I) knew about secret island but had no reply yet.
