Hm, after being delayed again, I wanted to let you know my hopes and dreams, maybe fullfilled on Next Island.
It would be helpfull, if a DevTeam member would read this and MAYBE would take our wishes in consideration...

    But here my wishes:
    1. an accurate map
If you look on the RockTropia map you see, that it is just a try. But not an actual map. For example the "New Harlem" area. Where is there the water? Where are the bridges? Not on the map. Or west of zombi land. There are no islands. And the peninsula east of the Stadium Parking is not existing...
So please! A more accurate map then on RT...

    2. Ores/EnMatter
I hope for new and "cool" ressources. Hey, I am a miner! And to find cool things in the soil is amazing! But if I would find at a beach in over 500 meters depth "Pina Colada Cocktail Mix" - really, why should I go to the bar? I digged the stuff out - and don't want to drink it after that... :p

    3. Please no Hunter Planet
Calypso got more and more a planet for hunters. Please not NextIsland. It's not fun for all people to hunt the red dots on the radar...

So, what are YOUR dreams, hopes and wishes for NextIsland? ;)

  2. i hope to be alot off diferents bettwen RT and EU new ores new items also UL items and alot off quest:)

As said above it would be great if NI had a set of weapons, armor and other stuff on it's own and not the same stuff as Calypso or RT has. Make them not able to leave the planet if it is a to big impact on the economy I don't care.

  4. New UL items would be nice, but most of all I'm hoping for a big big area to explore. Rocktropia isn't that large, I'm hoping NI will be bigger!

The problem these days with exploring is all the vehicles and TP chips, those make exploring a lot less fun. I remember the old days when I just started I loved to explore and and did that for hours on end and discovered some nice new (well for me at least) stuff. These days I just TP around a bit or get my car or boat to see the new stuff, all done in an hour or 2. Sure I can just run everywhere, but some how that seems not right these days, it kinda feels like I have to use them because I have them. But if we have no choice I'm pretty sure I would love it again IF there are some nice things to discover on NI and not like Calypso is now, just endless nature without any real fun stuff (although stuff is coming back, found a nice bridge and some waterfalls lately in the new PA server)

So I kinda hope that we will not be able to use either of them in some of the times in Next Island and from what I have heard I'm pretty sure we will not be ablt to use our hummer in ancient Greece, or our TP chip for that matter. This will bring back the 'real' exploring I loved a long time ago !

  6. Whilst a VTOL allows you see from the sky, you tend to miss a lot of cool stuff!
When VU10 first came, and TP chips didnt work, I remember having the time of my life exploring! For that reason I'm am tempted to leave the TP chip and VTOL in my inventory, and push my way through on foot.

Hehe, I won't leave my TP chip in my storage. But because I'm a miner, I will explore NextIsland of course by foot.
Because mining in vehicles is not possible. Besides, the TP chip is only my way BACK! Back to the storage and back to my last mining spot.

But because I don't need so much TPs, I hope we'll hava not too much. RockTropia has atm 60!!! Sixty TPs! Way to much!

  8. I will not use car and tp chip for exploring NI i hope it will be more bigger the RT ......maybe i will need some jacket when i find the ice age :))
