I somewhat miss the "Players Ideas" Section here in the Forum. First: I really LOVE NextIsland! To be honest, i hate Rocktropia and i am kinda fed up with Calypso and those bad FPC "Events". So, i took all my stuff and simply moved to NextIsland. Calypso will never see me again (unless i need to grab some stuff from the auction in case it does not get sold..) Question: How to get lots of Colonist to move to NextIsland? Idea: One way would be to give them all a true Home :) . What about a "Lost City of the Stranded" or something like that. With LOTS of small shacks and huts. Maybe 20 Itempoints and a little "Store" with maybe 5 Item points.. No need to buy it! You simply pay a little monthly rent. Should you fail to pay all the items are moved to your storage and you will need to look for a new home :) What do you think?
That sounds like a good idea :) Also, maybe a gateway, similar to calypso? Although not necessary (for the most part) to learn to play the game, it may still be good for backstory. I don't like rocktropia either... it feels underdeveloped to me :P my biggest love on calypso is the numerous cities I can go to.. you lose that on rocktropia. I'm really hoping that shows back up in Next Island :)
