This is utter garbage,I log on and keep getting dumped have run repair and it says my copy is valid,theres some kind of issue here needs addressing soonest.I can't even stay logged into game for a minute at a time sometimes.
I have had a colleague with this exact problem. It is not limited to NI, RT or PC. If you can find someone you trust get them to log in using your account then wait 1 minute then logout and wait another minute. You should then be able to log right back in. I hope it resolves your issue.
This has been a problem off and on since VU10 as far as I know. The memory link problems as well (you do not have enough memory etc when you know damn well you do). It is the platform, not the planets. Submit support case to MA, the more we send the more chance they might do something to fix some of this, and the more planet partners they have the more pressure to get it right I'd hope. I can't even think about the Michael Jackson group or Universal Studios/See putting up with this for too long, can you?
MA, just fix the damn thing already. Yeah and that's what bugs the heck out of me too.. Now I've had from time to time the crash but haven't crashed every time like Azamandeus has.. and it seems that this issue actually started around version 11.5... It's been getting progressively worse and was bad enough when MA introduced the 'dynamic download' update not more than 2 weeks ago.. and Last week's Next Island and Medusa Head Islands update really has kept the problem snowballing so that now it's starting to become more like a raging avalanche. And now what's even worse is that MA has basically shut down or can not allow folks to send in support cases (as they are saying there's support server issues...) And yes Lee, what is going to be a problem is when additional planets come online. I highly doubt that any of the Planet partners will stand for this. and what's worrisome is that it could be an issue where MA may be forced to either hire more programmers who can fix the problem correctly or maybe what they need is a set of trained papoos banging on typewriters all at the same time to code this game properly.. Either way MA needs to address this issue and address it now.. I mean it would be fun if we end up like Ebeneezer Scrooge, and not deposit for one month, (Namely January) and watch as MA Screatches it's head while it looks for the solution... do all of you that crash have nvidia cards, or is it a mixture of nvidia and ati ? ive heard rumors of instability in nvidia cards and such on the internet, dont remember where, but bad drivers could be part of the problem or just a bad series of nvidia cards. not sure, but is i can find more info i will post back
