Crystals: Simple List & Descriptions

I am holding all crystals and animal parts I loot until we know which ones will be useful and which ones will be like most animal parts and extractors on Calypso.

Unrefined description: This protective crystal is said to help lower your chances of personal injury and certain forms of poisoning.

 

LOL I don't want to clear them out, that is the problem there is too much stuff that saving it all will take up most of my storage just on the looted items. And without knowing what they are used for I don't want to get rid of any of it. :)

One option is to make a new thread with the same name labelled part II, leave first half here and put second half in the part II post - link end of first half list to the second post with a Continued in Part II link.

 

I was just musing that this kind of stuff really ought to be going into Entropedia. Lo and behold:

Lee, you should continue this thread. I believe that most info on entropedia is derived from forums such as these. There is also scope to make this thread very informative for crafters, traders, Mindforce, timetravellers (???) looking for simple info. I predict that, based on the descriptions, groups of crystals will be used for armour, FAPs etc. As info becomes available the thread will be vital to determine what can be crafted based on these sets of crystals. Possibly.

Nice work Lee. + rep for this excellent resource. It will certain come in hand when we can start crafting with the crystals.

The Buccaneer Skeletons drop the following: Amethyst, Anhydrite, Epidote, Novaculite, Petalite & Tiger's Eye.

 

I checked my storage and found Cerussite and Quartz refined crystals
If i loot some more unrefined cerussite and quartz crystals, i will post the description too

Erm, well then, time to get a Next Island forum account, I guess. I do have a few crystals on my list that you haven't gotten yet... and yes, I was, indeed, looking for labradorite. I never found out if it drops from mobs, but good to know where one can get it.

Anyway, down to business...

Chrysoberyl Crystal - Can help the mind put problems to the side to focus on other things

Iolite Crystal - Is said to assist in the alighment of aura

Jade - Is said to have the ability to completely reverse physical harm

Onyx - Is said to help banish old habits to facilitate mastery of ones destiny

Opal - Is said to have powers to grant temporary invisibility

Quartz - Is effective in combating static electricity and can be used to amplify healing practices

Topaz - Primarily used to stimulate memories

Turquoise - An amulet of good fortune and are said to assist in enhancing spiritual communication
