There a reason why there are NO turrets near revive/tp/towns? Really annoying when you revive, die, revive, die , revive, die cause mobs are camping the revives/towns/tp's. -Bemo-
perhaps having no turrets is intended and serves to give us a more dangerous experience. (yea, probably they forgot they needed them)
I make trips to all the revivals once a day to clear them out just for this reason. Usually late at night MA TIME! Just pop in, shot the mobs surrounding the revivals then head out. Have actually saved alot of people doing so. Would be nice to have turrets, but as skippy mentioned, probably an upcoming feature. I'm sure they are working pretty hard to get all the glitches/bugs and necessities out there.
there are a couple of invisible turrets. if you head west of crystal resort and die close to the island there is a revival (but no trade monkeys or teleporters) that has a turret function that revive point is the "new old calypso robot spawn revive", if you are new or weak and end up in that revive you could be trapped for hours filled with agressive mobs that can kill an unarmored guy in two hits (thinking about the village boar stalkers)
Thanks Ruf. + rep for excellence in public service. You are well on your way to earning your public service merit badge. I hope others will follow your example and keep the revival points clear until the Department of Public Works can get out and install turrets.
i think its another way of inducing decay upon our armor and weapons. its either pay decay an fight back or die and pay decay. either way it still costs us
