Okay I just joined Next Island today and well when I logged in I came to a place full of Papoo's I mean full even next to the Revival Terminal. I can't get within 10 feet without getting jumped by these things. Is it supposed to be like this, if so how in the world do I get out?! or is this some kind of bug and I'm going to have to figure a way around it...
This is a bug. Im not a member of the dev team, just another player, but from the impression we've been given Next Island is still in beta stage, and should remain that way until sometime towards the end of January. Some new players like yourself seem to have made it into the game, but the game isnt really ready for new folks just yet, so while we're glad to have you we also wish there were some front page type or login screen type communication that informed new folks that this was still in the testing stages, and how to go about filing a support request if anyone found themselves unable to play for any reason. In the meantime, you have 2 choices. You can either wait for a player to randomly come and rescue you. Youll need to post your name, what times you logon, etc, and then be diligent about looking for responses. OR You can go here: https://support.nextisland.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=15216 The SSL certificate isnt issued for this particular subdomain of Entropia Universe, so youll have to manually accept it (another bug). Once you do that though youll be taken to the Next Island support portal and can file a request. Please be as complete as possible. Thanks, welcome, and good luck!
The spawn issue should be resolved in the next update that's scheduled for the beginning of January. As it is now, you don't start where you are supposed to (near crystal palace) but in some remote outposts, Serpentine village being one of them. What I, and many other players in game do, is check those TP's every now and then and rescue those unfortunate enough to start their journey there. In the meantime, it's good to remember that in EU you get skills for everything, even getting hit, and you don't lose skills when dying. So, it's free skills :) P.S. Hope this will be resolved soon
If you're still stuck I can send someone from Manticore NI SOC to come dig ya out. For now we'll take a zip by Serpentine Village to see if you or anyone else is stuck there. Menace

EDIT: I was actually able to run to the teleporter near the Revival Terminal and get away. But can't wait for that to be fixed so others don't have to deal with that...It was annoying lol.
