Damn you jellyfish, i was about to do the same post...

One small note to add:
As you've seen Meg, the bickering and questions indeed stopped at the moment you gave us your "best guess", something that we indeed and did not consider the date set in stone (but we hoped... oh how we hoped). We understand that there are always unforeseen variables that may delay a VU, but all we ask is another guestimate.

P.S. Some hints on things the VU will contain (BPs? please please please) will certainly ease the tension :)

 

I think we're jumping the gun here a bit.

First, its not Feb 1 yet.

Second she did say that was a guess. A guess shouldnt exactly be taken as a confirmation of exact time, date, venue, and whether it will arrive in a Vercace dress or not. It's just a guess based off limited information she may have at her immediate disposal.

Third, isnt it standard Entropia practice for players to not know a patch is going to happen until mere minutes before it actually goes into place? They do this so that players cant buy up items at reduced rates, basically they deliberately keep us in the dark in order to avoid rapacious market manipulation. If the EU ubers knew BPs were being released tomorrow theyd buy up all crafting supplies now and come over so they could get their names in lights on the All Time Highs for discoveries board.

Im not saying Im on MindArks side or anything. Im just saying... slow down a bit. We all want the patch, and we're all hoping it happened sometime last week. But we dont know what kind of information Meg has at her disposal, and we dont know how reliable MindArk actually is in meeting internal deadlines.... only that external deadlines so far have been missed by months and/or years! :palm:

 

Ya it was a rough deadline. ND said back in December that BP's are coming when NI officially launches. I still want to sacrifice someone at mount Pele :)

 

Sacrifice me!! Its still one of the things I can do for entertainment that is free :)

 

The best hope can be for sometime this week.

if there is an update it will be 6 or 7 hours from now(noticed that most updates in this universe come at 8am my time :)

 

The loading window will let us know when the Update is coming. I just hope the next one has stuff for NI in it

Fingers crossed once again, been playing another of my regular games lately to save ped for when things get fixed/implemented. A big well done to those of you still managing to log in and be active, and do events and other things to help the new ones.

 

looks like ill be depositing $20.00 tomorrow....

 

The good news is that it's 11.6.0, an MA release and should be a big one, so this very well looks like there will be an NI update included :)
