Announcing Entropians.com - A social network for Next Islanders and Entropia Universe

I am excited to announce the official launch of www.Entropians.com, a social network dedicated exclusively to Entropia Universe participants.

Entropians.com provides a host of tools and features to enable Entropia Universe players to connect and communicate with one another, organize events and share statuses, experiences, photos, and videos.

Most of the features available on Entropians.com will be familiar to those of you who use a mainstream social networking site such as Facebook or MySpace. Those features include:

• Contact Network - Add contacts and control who is able to see content that you share.
• Member Profiles - Customizable layouts and privacy settings.
• Member Statuses - Let your Entropians.com friends know what's on your mind, or share web links and videos.
• News Feed - Quickly see what all your Entropians.com contacts are up to (similar to Facebook's Wall).
• Entropians.com "Like" buttons | Facebook "Like" buttons - Give a thumbs up to content shared by other Entropians.com members.
• Private Messaging - Keep in touch with your Entropia Universe friends and contacts.
• Photo Sharing - Including slide-shows and custom member albums.
• Video sharing - Upload your own videos, or link to/embed videos from popular sites such as YouTube and Vimeo.
• Blogs - Create your own Entropia Universe blog quickly and easily.
• Groups - Create a public or private group for your EU friends or society.
• Events - Announce and promote your EU events, and allow other members to RSVP.
• Much, much more....

In addition, Entropians.com offers the option of linking with your existing Facebook account, which allows you to post status updates to Entropians.com and Facebook simultaneously, as well as to Facebook "Like" items posted on Entropians.com. In fact, you can completely bypass the Entropians.com registration process and log in to Entropians.com right now with your existing Facebook credentials.
