Sweat

  1. So far I have been offering 5ped/k to a max of 5k sweat(under 15 agility). As of April first this will be reducing to 4ped/k to a max of 3k sweat. May first I will have to reduce to 3ped/k, still 3k bottles.
For June I will wait and see what happens with the big update then.

Sorry for the reduced price but I have had to replace my boiler this week and that will have a ripple effect on how much extra funds I can deposit to help new players.

I tested the Wild Boar young today, and they gave about 50 bottles at a time ;)

  3. I see... i guess you can turn up the heat and make make your own sweat now. Fine, fine...

Can't help to wonder though, what contraption you've created for bottling it :p

P.S. Gratz for keeping up helping new players, unfortunately my funds for that cause dried out a while ago.

  4. Considering sweat is no longer being used as much as it used to in the old days, i believe MA should replace it with/or add a rookie weapon and ammo into the new players inventory. Sweating now should be advised to be done only as a skilling action. (i know i still sweat for skilling)

The introduction of vehicles has been a really good add for players that have been in EU for a long time but new players keep loosing ground and hope for a free to play game (at least for starters, before they decide to deposit or quit).

It just seems that, while waiting for new stuff to be introduced, it becomes more eco for the older players to supply a hunting set instead of buying sweat on and on (which i bet we all have LOTS of it stacked in our storage by now). I think they'd be more intependent sooner in their gameplay, instead of waiting and "begging" for someone to buy their sweat.

    Attention:
I'm not suggesting that sweating should stop. I just believe, under the current circumstances, it should be done and adviced for skilling mostly.

Everything else is in MA's hands and we, as players who like this game, contribute as much as we can.

    Cheers :)

So glad to come across this thread. I'll continue to help out by buying sweat usually during US west coast evening and weekend times, though I only started buying about a week ago. Kind of reminds me of the crazy Serpentine issues a few months back before the death tikis were installed. NI residence stood up and helped new players. I wonder if it would be too much to dream if the NI developers could even post a "Sweat Bought Here" area or allow the sweat to be sold at the TT? It would really be a shot of encouragement for the new people who would like to play the game yet have very little beginning resources.
