  1. there are some things that need to be said, but seriously, i can't be arsed to frustrate myself by filing support cases every time i see that you have broken yet another thing in EU and get a silly canned answer back after 3 weeks - a canned answer that reads like "please write your questions/suggestions/bug reports on a piece of paper and post it by throwing it in your local dustbin - tyvm for not bugging us with it".

    Hence this thread ( you have no idea how often i already planned to post this) - MA/FPC/NDstudios: feel free to make it a mandatory read for your coders, usually i don't do software consulting for free.

    So, here we go - things you have changed that were perfectly fine, things that you have broken during your mission to make the buggiest game ever - they will be listed here over time! ;)

    didnt know about that.... what exactly is the point of a chat.log file that doesnt have the names of those chatting?
     
  3. And yet another one that bugged me for months, i.e. causing Jdegres skill scanner to not working properly when started before EU (not the client loader, the EU client process):

  4. Dear MA:

    When I drag & drop items in storage, and the item is not dropped exactly on a free slot, the item is moved all the way up to the first available slot. This causes A LOT of unnecessary scrolling, and it is extremelly annoying. It should move to the closest available slot, not all the way up.

    This great "feature" has been made even nicer this VU. Now, if I drag & drop an item from inventory to storage, the storage window is scrolled automatically all the way down to the bottom. This does not happen when stackable items are added to an existing stack; only with items placed on a new slot.

  6. Dear Mindark,

    despite numerous VU's, even despite the change of the complete game engine, we still are moving like snails in fresh concrete.

    Is it really impossible for you to implement [what-ever code] to enable us to move like in a 2010 game? Is it really unavoidable to have all of our moves delayed this much, to have the responsiveness of any keys delayed this much?

    You are sure you'll find a lot of new depositing participants when offering them avatar movement speeds that was seen as outdated even in the early 80's?

    (on a more serious notice; Could you PLEASE remove the mob-hitting-and pushing? It is very frustrating when you're trying to kill bigger mobs and you have to be able to fap, but you can't because 'you're moving' (Read: The mobs keep pushing you so you move) AND not to mention a minor issue; IT COSTS ME MORE MONEY ...

  8. In all fairness; that could be by design. I honestly dont think it is - but on some level it makes sense that if you are pushed arround, you cant "inject the magic healing stuff" into your body as well as if you were not pushed arround. You of all people as a nurse should know that. :)
     
  9. Everytime they have "Improved client stability" in their "New VU Content",
    the game runs laggier and slower for me.

    People are telling MA for years now that their coder crew sucks, yet they refuse to hire someone worth the money - whereas i am meanwhile convinced that Marcos 15 year old cousin is coding all the stuff, the lack of experience in what they do there is so painfully obvious...

    Nun =/= Nurse

    Unless there is a dark, hidden (and somehow appealing in a strange way )chapter in Lykkes past where she worked as a nurse... and i somehow missed that bit.

    See, I think it is...

    I cannot help but feel as if a LOT of functionality in the game has been deliberately programmed in such a way as to maximize the participants' losses.

    Havent you guys figured out by now that EVERYTHING MA does is intentional.

    NO ONE, and by this I mean absolutely NO ONE can fuck something up every time they do something. Hell even a broken clock is right two times a day. It has therefore become my conclussion that all the "bugs", "features", "nerfs", enhancements", "dehancements", and just plain harassing things that occur in the game are FULLY and whole heartedly intentional.

    We can post till the cows come home.. Give examples of what is supposed to be, what should be, or what can be, and these people over there will NEVER change a thing that does not fit into their plan to take EVERY possible pec they can from the game.

    They hide behind the fact that not everyone will agree on everything even just most things. This way they can continue to do what they do with zero reprocussions because the community will never unite to stop the perpetuation of how they do things.

    The ONLY thing they will understand is something that will cost them major amounts of money lost to snap them back to reality. The little work arounds they use to beat the gambling laws in Sweden are just a small part but everyone seems to concentrate on just that. There are international regulations and laws of different countries they are not conforming to which could bite them in the ass hard if someone were to organise and persue the enforcement of such things.

    I am sure many like myself have learned of these and thought to move on them but have been reluctant to persue them as it would hurt many friends and the community as a whole to do so. The saving point is that the way things are going almost everything in EU will be devalued to the point it really wont matter due to the losses that have been incurred regardless of what action was or was not taken. At some point someone will snap and persue these things, it is inevitable.
