Mentoring is comming back

    Sept 26th Mentoring should be back according to Supremacy from MA. Just thought I'd bring it up here since all the forums are buzzing about it, and honestly, I think Nextisland needs it the most.

    I know. We'll inject a test serum into select Papoo and Boars, which accelerates and stimulates neural growth. We'll then teach them languages, science, and tactical skills.

    Yep glad to see it's finally coming back.. I have a deciple that hasn't logged on since..... wait what year is it??!! :nana:

    But from the sounds of it, there will be a nice update to mentoring!! :)

    Whoever we can. Look I know how this game works, I know that NI isn't set up right, yet. I know the whole content argument. NI had an effect on many of us once, one by one we woke up from the dream, but I have found that dream again. Depending on how the new mentor system works, we may be able to use it to keep new players in, a self repeating system, we teach new players, then they teach those that come after, the thing that makes this work, is the reward system.

    Is there a place to read the planned changes? I remember reading some post or guide about mentoring but now I can't find it.

    Yes, depending on how it works. If there is some incentive for the disciple to stick around and grind to get to that point. But we can't ask the people who have come and gone whether that would be enough for them to stay and continue. Mentoring is still not the answer to NI problems.

    We wont know what they intend on changing with it until the release notes are released after the update.

    As for the guide, I wish the admin or mod would make a sticky of useful links but its seems to be too much of a problem to sticky posts. :palm:
