I have tried to reply to threads here but keep getting database error. I tried to follow Meg's link. Same. Meg's latest article appear's abouta zillion times over. Heck, this is some database error. I notice that Torz successfully posted a new thread (ironically all about an in-game bug) so trying this jay
I've seen two database error messages. One where you get a white page with a general database error on and one (that I'm expecting to get here) where an error message window opens, usually when posting a reply to a thread. With the second type the post seems to be posted even though the message says there's and error. Add to this the problem with posts only showing up on the front page, when (my theory) they would appear in a new page of the thread and you have all round confusion. Last time Enzo was around he was talking about changing to something other than vBulletin, but that was months ago. Is anyone on the team in charge of the forum or is it just being left to run itself?
I wonder if this reply will appear? I notice Meg's same post is still appearing repeatedly as if she's been transformed into a spambot Yikes! jay :)
Same here, most actions wioth the forum end in a database error, but sometimes it works. Sometimes, the error message is saying something about a wrong security token
and if you check this section of the forum, you'll see that this thread is listed as having 0 replies.
