Crystal Center looks like crap now! Mission Info Helens Hunting Party - Recieve a new pistol and 10,000 ammo (pistol has a 50% limit ) Professor Kardsten - Get refined aragonite crystals (10) Emment Murray - Island Ziplex Z1 Seeker, Earth Excavator ME/01, Probes (20) (they look just like the Calyspo versions) Paula Larmer - Scanner (looks like the Calypso version) Malcom Campbell - blueprint for tropical shades and blueprint book Miranda - she only needs 20 wool instead of 200 Transformer merchandise - You can now buy the autobots or decepticons t-shirts for 45 peds and optimus prime helmet for 20 peds (+shop fee) Overall I think the missions are great. But I despise the look they are changing it too. They are taking away the tropical island feel to it. The PVP area looks like a concrete city wreckage, the Boar fields look like its surrounded by electrical fence that has been neglected for years. I really hope they decide that was the wrong way to go and change it back!
I do agree it was the wrong way to go. The tropical feeling I think is the big draw..... not the rundown urban sprawl. Also putting the special items like the transformer helmet in a place where resellers can make a quick buck lowers the speciality of that item.
yeah, completely destroyed the place now, and whats this about Caly mobs here too... where is the tropical island? putting "Island" in front of tt items isn't making it a tropical island as it was supposed to be...
Well did a little more exploring, went to about 10 different tp's and out of the 10, 9 of them had this horrible fog that you could hardly see in front of you.....wtf?? Found the pappo village and don't mind the fog there, seems to fit the area. Of course I had to check out ND's side.......beautiful still. I think it was Sylver Dragon that mentioned that the old crystal center was still there and I was going to go looking for it but....the fog in other places just disappointed me further to the extend that I am on my way to Arkadia now. Guess I will start being like a lot of other folks and just come back to check out the updates :(
I came to Next Island this morning and I found new arrival area very nice, the stupid thing immho is the trash away the old Crystal Center, actually is a super cool outpost with some buildings removed and still the sound of teleporters but without them... also all the sign the make your way to the village are still there but there's no village :(
After the latest vu with beach hut redesign I find that tropical island feel gone even more. The new huts look like bomb shelters inside or a cargo shipping container. I like the old Gilligan's Island look more
I myself would just be happy to get the lighting back to what it once was. But all in all, I'm guessing they are working on all this..just takes time between updates.
