I THINK ALL THE FIRST NI COLONS WILL DISAGREE THIS OPTION FOR 2 REASONS A: we are some players who have made most of last 2 years entropian life on NI. when other players stayed on calypso or other planets, we were on NI making stock of NI specific items, hoping to sell them one day at a good price. B: loot 10 legs on minotaur or 2 eyes on a cyclop, what a stupid idea. 2: change the compo of the bp i think that cristal and, or mob part must not exceed 5 or 10 % of the tt value of a craft try. for this my suggestions are a: for NI. include general ores and emmatters on the bp met and emm resid will be used to craft complete L guns. b: for Ancient Greece include oils in the craft oil resid used to complete L guns (using ores could be logic, but because mining doesn t exist on AG, i think it is better not use them) for me the second option is the solution: -cristal and mob part will stay interesting MU loots -craft price will be more abordable -guns will be attractive -more drillers and miners will come and stay on NI -it will create a better economy interaction with others planets (before, we only export from NI, with the wool and fine textile used on mission and bp, it was the first time players have imported items from other planets to be sold on NI. using oils , ores and emmatters could create some importation vocations) this are my suggestions to make NI an attractive planet"
I think we can all agree that this needs to be changed. Like you, I think that it wouldd be better to chage the BP composition than to alter the drops significantly. Kudos for this initiative! However, it would NOT be appropriate to just copy-and-paste your support case because: 1) Your proposals are very detailed and you can expect that people will agree in every detail 2) you are speaking too much from your personal POV, which would not apply to all who might wish to respond 3) your English is not exactly perfect I must disagree with this part: Considering that most crystals and mob parts have a TT value of only 1 pec,or little more, then 5 or 10% could still be ridiculously high. Personally I think that for most purposes , no more than 1 crystal or mob part should be required. Never do you get more than one of any given crystal drop at a time, and in most cases it is not even a common drop from the mob. I think the problem here might be that the developers are thinking in terms of TT value, rather than in in terms of how many you are likely to loot in a given time. I also think that many of the items themselves need to be much higher maximum TT than they are, and/or Unlimited. However I do hope that the developers don;t rush to change things too fast. They clearly need the informed opinions of people who actually play the game, before implementing any more crazy ideas jay :) jay :)
I agree common ores and enmat, oils, basic targe assesment unit etc (generally common loot) MUST be in new bp and reduce amount of crystals in new pb for about 20%.

jaywalker 1/ i agree with you , my english is not perfect, but not so bad for a french, i hope.:o 2/ i disagree with your idea of only one of each cristal we are all agree to say that craft is now too expensive ( and compo are just crazy), but to give a good economic life to NI , it is not good if all the crafter could hunt quickly themselves all they need to craft the bp. -actual bp compo is killing craft -too easy bp compo will kill NI auction 10 % is for me a good compromise to give an exemple sword of courage bp (i think best AG sword ) is: could be apophylitte 9 1 atacamite 15 2 atlantasite 20 2 bornite 20 2 cyclops arm 35 4 cyclops club 25 3 cyclops eye 40 4 cyclops leg 50 5 cyclops pouch 45 5 cyclops wrist 60 6 animal oil 0 538 tt price 17.45 17.45 with 2kMU NI items 349 ped 42.34ped as you see , with same tt price value a little more than 10% of NI item we could pass from a crazy 349 ped to an acceptable 42 ped for a crafter. and item will stay hard enough to loot to see the auction working better than today. 3/ last point, i ve seen one of the new NIP. these guns use few ammo the nip p 3 use 3.5 pec ammo for 40 of maw dmg. we all know that MA give us gift only at the end of december 3.5 pec ammo for 40 dmg just mean that this gun have an horrible decay (i think it is about 6.5 pec) or decay is directly concerned by MU. if this gun cost 10*time it s tt price, that mean that it will cost 68.5 pec for 40 dmg surely one of the less interesting gun on entropia.
sorry for the "is" , and the "could be" numbers they were better separated on my writed message hope you can read it well enough to understand the idea. and for the message: there s a lot of not normal things NI manager have done, and i m sure that most of NI residents are agree with me 1° new bp compo: i thnk i don t have to explain 2°the praetonium: they have implemented it during november, i don t understand why they haven t see there is a problem with it before the implement of tropical shade 3° the selenite: when they have implemented first version of tropical shade, they have put selenite at auction (sold by NI MANAGER) , after they have sold them, they simply retire it from tropical bp, and fuck the buyers. 4°the NI MANAGER shopkeepers, who sold clothes at tt+10, imagine if opalo, tt finders, etc..... was now sold at tt+10 etc... (miranda mission, from 200 wools to only 20) that s why i think that we have to send NI managers messages each time we see not normal things. and to answer jayjay when he say that MANAGERS will better take time , i think they should have better take time to make a good bp compo before they implement the bp: and to finish i don t give just my POV i try to give a solution who give NI craft and auction a future, without fuck older NI players
I 2nd the BP requrirements change request. To provide some field data ... went to Greece, took 10 tt swords and went hunting cyclops 3 times, each time using all the TT swords had to offer. Returns : - leg : 16 - eye : 19 - wrist : 9 - pouch : 21 - club : 16 - arm : 13 Now those were 3+ hours of hunting, 200+ peds cycled, offering me ZERO attempts on even the lowest Greek sword bp. Considering those results I'd need to do the same thing 2 more times for the "honor" of 1 attempt at a sword craft ... 10h hunting, 600 peds cycled for 1 click ??!!?? u must be kiddin :) ... Something has to be done dear NI devs or managers or whoever is in charge

I second again this bp change. Just in case i hadnt say it yet. Useless to hunt big stuff in greece with the crappy tt stuff.
You prefer crystals and new weapons weapons being 101% instead? No problem. Just buy some Ice Daggers (L) with pretty decent stats that drop from NI mobs and sell at the auction house for around 114% in order to reflate the local market.
