Just wanted to clear up some of the rumors swirling around! To clarify, Next Island has NOT been sold. We have received an investment that will enable our team to keep developing new and exciting content, to make our upcoming content releases even better.
Great. So I guess the new team developing NI wont happen then if its not being sold. So ... are these "investors" aware that you cant even fix your forum? Are they aware that you guys that dev NI haven't even actually "played" EU? Was happy when I heard that NI had been sold, thinking that it might actually go back to what it started out to be, guess that won't happen now :/ -Bemo-
Bemo, I'd be a bit more optimistic :) Investors INVEST ... expecting return, that's the definition of "investment" imho :) ... so maybe the NI dev team will now have to discover the economic side of EU and where the money are really coming from. as there's no fixed monthly WoW subscription and people do not come toghether in guilds and share loot in order to have 1-2 clicks on a entry-level BP just for the sake of it :)
