With the return of spam advertising (see Mining sub-forum) I'm not so sure there's anyone out there at present.

As well as the general warning about nextisland.com, I've been getting specific warnings about the devblog being infected. There are unfortunately, links all over this site to the devblog, including David's tweets from the last week in the twitter feed, so perhaps these should be removed from the site for now.

Whether Mr Post also needs to have a look at his twitter feed, I'm not sure, but his latest tweet seems out of character and points to a redirecter.

Which explains the malware warning on the main page, the lack of forum updates, silent dev blog, ignored support tickets, and I'm no longer expecting an August release.

Sad really... I was reading the MA mid way report that mentions the difficulties with SEE in the first part of this year. Now we have ongoing delays with Cyrene and Nesoi Makaron has gone kaputski.... shame really since its a lovely place and was very different from the other stuff. It was a lot of fun.

Ya know, it figures that of all the planets I chose to start on, it would be the very one that's apparently been dumped.

 

Don't feel down about your chose, its a very beautiful planet. Its just a shame that it didn't have the people behind it to make it all it could be. But as long as its still there, there is still hope.

And guess what?? .. the Planet is still here. And guess what?? We are still coming here to play.. And guess what?? Until there is an empty whole in space where this planet used to be, That Won't Change.

Time for everyone to wake back up and realize that you can still do things here,, gain skills,, learn crafts,, earn ped.. its all still here even if the developers went on permanent hiatus.

Hmmmm,, wonder if I can find a way to start slowly taking over the planet piece by piece until its all mine. <weg>
