Every click is appreciated, of course. I'm not 100% sure how exactly a click would contribute, though. AdSense is kind of a black box thing.
A word of caution regarding Adsense... they are very strict on their terms, and they pay close attention to click behaviour. The site owner should never click any adsense links, and never solicit clicks from users. I know this because I've fallen foul of the rules and had an account terminated. Basically I put an adsense enabled search tool on my website for ease of use, and because I was the account holder, using the search from my own site was illegal.
Thanks for the heads up :) We are very aware of this and have never clicked on our own ads (and won't ever either). I didn't know about the search feature though? But I do not think we have a such either anyway ... *looks at VF*
UPDATE I made a moblist on Wiki ! Help is now welcome for those who wish to ad the stats and eventually each page. I looked at the other wiki, and since they have some info we from good reasons do not have - I would like to try and rewrite things. Of course it is not possible with everything. Also as mentioned, we need more NEW pictures :) I see that some very kind persons have been adding to the links and started on Ores/enmatters, weapons etc. THANK YOU
Just tried to add some info, but i noticed the table contains style attributes for every single table It's very difficult to edit it like this, let alone that the sheer size of the raw page is already 122KB (at least thats what wiki said iirc) - it is already hard enough to see where to make the changes, but with the style attributes it is kinda impossible im afraid... :( Does it have to be like this? Or can we at least change the style attribute to a smaller class and put the style somewhere else (header or .css file), so it doesnt have to be inserted for every single cell? Or is it intended to be that way, to have the ability to highlight certain rows/cells? (which would still be possible with a class="highlight" or something...)
lol no it does not have to be that way - that's the only way I could figure out how to make the table :( Sorry - feel free to change it ... might take some time though ;)
I've adapted the table template and removed all style settings from there. I'll try and see if I can figure out where the CSS file is stored, and see if I can use that instead. I'm not entirely sure whether it is possible to somehow directly issue UPDATE statements against blob-fields in mySQL (which would be a quick way to strip most of the styling out), but worst case scenario, I'll manually dig into the individual pages and use WordPad or something similar to mass-delete the styling settings, and then refer to the css once that's up. In other wiki-news, I've added a module to the frontpage which will list the latest changes to the wiki pages. We will soon create a wiki usergroup, which will be a special "honorary" group for people who help out by contributing to the wiki. They will receive a special badge, similar to those we already have for Administrators, and other contributors (or otherwise special folks), so you can easily spot these fine people.
It would be a nice add for MA to put in a 'please render 1 frame for a screenie with all GFX settings at MAX - even if it takes forever for my ancient card to do it' button. ps: hello to all :)
I have experience writing if that's going to be any help to you. I don't really get a lot of free time, though, so it would have to be something that doesn't take up much time.
