Yeh it's an interesting move... very interesting... Recently they merged the horizons expansion into the main game then made the whole thing a fiver briefly on Steam. Now they entirely give it away on Epic for a week.

There is a big expansion planned for early 2021 so I'm wondering if their marketing/sales strategy is to get as many people hooked into it now as pos, and this will increase the number of people who are likely to buy the expansion come next year. I have a feeling that the expansion might be a bit more price wise than expansions usually are, largely as I get the impression it will almost be like bolting on a whole new game.

another day another epic game. Long dark is on there now for another 9 minutes... then it's a new day. Seems the change out is at 10 am central standard time daily.

boo... Metro 2033 Redux is the freebie today on epic. It was a freebie back on 9/29/2019... at least make the new freebie something you didn't already give away, lol. Epic's starting to look like Arkadia, giving away xmas freebies that were already given away a good many years ago.
