I grabbed the Alien one... I'm 98% certain I'm waaaay too jumpy to play a scary game (I couldn't even cope with head crabs in Half Life)... but "free scifi space game" got me.
Nearly a year has passed and again I have one humblebundle gift link - this time for ABZU. Just PM me and in about 48 hours I will randomly draw via https://commentpicker.com/random-name-picker.php if more than one wants it. Update: 2 people are in the pot now :-) The winner is: https://commentpicker.com/random-name-picker.php?id=rnp_60967691a2c50931
oh that popular lockdown game was free on epic the other day,.... er,,, among us. Might still be or they might be on to something else now... not sure edit: 1 day left
Not free but 80% discount right now, just a few bucks. I actually decided to abstain from game collecting since it takes time out from delving deeper into the ones you care about, but... this was interesting and made me look it up: https://www.twitch.tv/videos /1047758852 (remove the space b/c embed broken; might try from the 4:50:00 mark if you've eaten already)
I know what you mean... even when free I certainly don't grab stuff I know I have no interest at all in... in the case of LN my friend seemed to play it alot so I grabbed on her recommendation but dunno when I'll get to trying it. I actually have a "thing" I do with the steam christmas sale where I tend to chuck a bunch of stuff into my basket till I'm happy I've chucked in all that I'm interested in... then I ask myself "am I ACTUALLY going to play that before NEXT year's steam sale where it will likely have an even bigger discount?" which causes me to remove about 85% of stuff from the cart and then I just get a few, normally what I'd call "low barrier to entry stuff" where it won't take much effort to have abit of fun with it.
OpenTTD is free on GOG right now: https://www.gog.com/game/openttd Control and Genshin Impact are for free in the Epic Store
Tomorrow, they will have Sonic Mania (and Horizon chase turbo). My twitter feed today was celebrating 30 years of Sonic. I have been buying up some older game computers (PS1 and PS2, Atari 2600 (the old model with 6 rather than 4 switches), a NES, and I recently won an auction for a Sega Megadrive (Genesis in the US), along with the first Sonic game. Can't wait to play it :)
oh nice! I think I played i on my friends Master System back in the day. Will see if I can grab those too. The Horizon chase turbo reminds me of Lotus 2 on Archimedes or turbo outrun in the arcades.
You and Az are welcome to swing by to play some retro games :) I forgot I also got a Commodore 64. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all this stuff, but I might have to start a museum, lol.
blah, Sonic they got on there does not work with xbox controller. It's keyboard only. emulators may be better way to go for old school console feel.
