Well... assuming zero outlay... I guess that's got them enough for a junior developer? or maybe a part time one. But somehow I doubt that was the case or that they'll divert the funds to anything so useful... I wonder how many decades it will take to see returns on that 30k... especially considering extra outlay to actually promote the code....

Rather fascinating to see the amounts for each one... I expected Caly to be the big ticket but never imagined Next Island would be in at 2/3rd or Cyrene at 1/2 !! I'd have imagined Arkadia would do waaay better...

I still don't undertstand all the crypto blockchain stuff. I'm always told that one advantage is that everythig is entirely transparent forever. Today when I clicked the link that led to the Calypso Egg (https://entropia.nft.io/asset/56062925) it redirects to the nft.io mainpage. I checked and now every link ends their, incl. the Entropia NFT page, the "Terms and Rules", everything. So where can I find this info now? Where are the eggs?

yeh the info seemed to vanish as fast as it appeared. I know what you mean about transparency. I guess it's transparent in the blockchain but you probably need a phd in blockchain to be able to find it

The affiliates signed their affiliate contracts and that’s that until the eggs hatch

You could try asking the owners. The ones we know about.

In the case of arkadia when they where asked why they are not ingame and been visible the answer was that they don't think that is important and choose not to do things that way and if you include their dev streams with everything promised and not delivered, Arkadia was viewed as one of the high risk eggs. (I'm born on ark and i wish nothing but the best for that planet)
The toulan egg was politics that predates my account... so can't really comment on that.
Most of the speculators on the eggs took in account how active a planet is and how easy it is to work with them this is why Cyrene and NI was alot more popular if you consider politics and how easy the partners are to get a hold off.
And Caly is considered the "Main planet" so that explains the price of that one but most of us did not feel like working direclty with MA would be a solid one and rather have a Planet Partner inbetween which is why i did not even bid on the Caly one.

The blockchain is just a public ledger... not sure why nft.io started to hide their auctions but there was alot of bugs.
( that has been reported )
One of them was a rounding error that made it impossible for some bidders to place a bid. ( think 1/3 when only six decimals where allowed and the error message was not showing ).
The eggs are still in the blockchain... well with nft.io... it's just an image that symbolizes the agreement.

There are not much more information than what the winner of this token gets which is an affiliate agreement + an egg that will hatch sometime after UE5 is live for a unique pet.

The contracts has been signed and are live each of the affiliate egg holders have their links and contracts.
The ingame eggs wont be handed out until much later when UE5 is live.

Interesting points about the less developed/more ah... open to engagement partners making for the more attractive eggs simply through virtue of being more easy to work with... I hadn't thought of that one!
