Like most Entropians, I pursue the warm golden glow and trumpet blast of a blessing from Lootius. Unlike many, I also very much pursue the conceit of the universe within which we transact. If the entire purpose is purely transactional risk and reward, then why do we clothe the transactions in fantastic outfits on exotic terrain? Obviously, it is because that is how we wish to see the risks and rewards presented. There is no material benefit to the outcomes of the transactions from the appearance of the interface. It is an intangible benefit that provides a balm to the areas of our consciousness that are not required for the execution of the transactions and are more suited to the aesthetic considerations. The subtle interplay of rythms from the actions and the sounds, music and our own inner dialogue create an immersive fusion that does not add one iota to the quantum of your result, but nonetheless.... we like that. We enjoy the conceit of hunting ferocious beasts on alien worlds, or manufacturing a range of superb armour for that endeavour, or transporting people between worlds, or any one of the myriad activities in which we pretend to engage whilst seeking the positive calculus from the risk reward equation. I encourage as much of that as you can tolerate. Live this beautiful universe, be in it and revel in the conceit. Make memories that no chart, spreadsheet or database can ever provide. In this thread, I will share some of my memories, I hope they will add something to your journey because making them certainly adds joy to mine. >
I'm currently trying to drag a Hogglo to the catwalk on New Oxford... here's our departure from Treasure Island... Some swift skyripper mounts and dismounts made for a cool run .... ...but I lost it THIS close to New Oxford... ...sigh... another day..
