Here comes the late b-day present in form of a tip, which will help you through the biggest obstacle one can have:

When you're among days first customers in a pub, there's a risk that you might get a pint that has a mild, yet annoying, taste of "tubing".

Ask for just 1 cl of Jägermeister in your pint! Sounds weird but it works. It doesn't taste like beer with Jägermeister in it, but clean beer.
