  3. I do not understand entirely - it is possible to kill other players outside pvp areas? (I mean some other way than leading beasts to the victim)

All of amethera is pvp, the only places not pvp are player owned land areas.

There is a difference between normal pvp and some of the pvp "zones" though.

A player can kill another player but will not receive any loot from them when killing them in,

    1. Any of the Octagons
    2. Any of Amethera ouside land areas
    3. The two yellowish orange pvp areas on eudora, including the oil rig zone.

A player can kill another player and receive all of their stackable loots if killing them in,
    1. the Red pvp area on Eudoria (aka pvp3)
    2. the Red pvp area on Amethera (aka pvp4)

You can not enter pvp3 or 4 without injecting yourself with a toxic shot from the trade terminal. This is to ensure that you can only enter a lootable pvp area of your own free will, and can not claim you were there accidentally.

It would appear that the person named in the first thread is a low level "wannabe" pker who cant kill other avatars who are outfited for pvp, so they prey on miners and noob sweaters around neas because they dont have the weapons to shoot back. This is done for a cheap pk hof which is what you get when you kill 10 people before being killed yourself.

hope this helps clear up some of your confusion,

Strange Narfi, I never knew neas place outside LA is PVP area before and never got smoked there before. It happened so fast I also did not catch the soc name just his name virus. Unfortunatelly Force just left for RT again and he wouldve taken vengeance on my behalf and knows the name btw, I pmed him after getting smoked.

  7. I have been mining in pvp Amethera since 2007, and was attacked about 6 or 7 times in all this time. Most of the time by people who couldn't even kill me in explorer :dunno:

I think as stated above, thats just someone ambushing OJ's from Nea's for lame easy PK.

Keep mining the beautiful and untaxed Amethera, its not really dangerous and you can't be looted :)

  8. Thanks for clarifying, narfi, I did not know that about Amethera :-) Well I roam Eudoria most of the time so no surprise I missed this fact :-)

yeah if you get killed mining in Amethera is usually some fresh off the boat pussy that doesnt have the courage or skills to go play with the real pk'ers.

Usually getting back and taking a few shots at em or draggin a mob train or to on em snaps em outta their rebellion.

Most time letting them know they can quickly become your societies next event makes em a lot more humble.
