could prolly even get more active by looking at defense and attack points instead of vilagers when calculating if a vilage is to weak or not, this stops the rape the newbys :P

 

I guess some people simply don't get what "game" or "play" means.... that level of douchebaggery is, fortunately, its own punishment.

 

That was actually completely manually.. I was saving for 500 gold to buy my next ep40, and suddenly it said I didnt have enough money.. I quickly saw who attacked me, and saw on richest list u had the gold still, but by the time I attacked u (2 seconds later) you had spent it :(

ps: It's not like I used the script the whole time.. I made it yesterday and used it last night or so to counter your ruthless feff-bashing

I really don't like the way population grows after going under 250
It needs to be corrected (I understand that the tracker as priority, but when you have time consider what I've sugested ok)

Just to be clear.. I know some see it differently, but I have no ethical problem with allowing a script to take over in periods as long as it gives no benefit over doing it yourself other than time saved. It's like autoclicking on crafting.. You won't get rich doing it, but it saves you from RSI.

Indeed. Always disguise the script as a browser.

 

I don't think Akoz is the only one using scripts, I have also the feeling there are people using script to keep an eye on the rich list, and auto attack players that make a big jump on the list.

 

There is no real way to suspend a game account, i had to break the association with the forum account to stop him from doing what he did.

A side effect of this is the missing name - direct your anger towards the cheater please.

I will now remove him completely, i hope this will not break the game.


And @ mr. cheater:
I lack words, you are even bold enough to post some lame excuses - i'm sure people are not telling you what they think because of your EU history - but i don't give a damn: People like you suck - you think you are oh so clever because you find a way to not go the long road, but anyone with a bit of self-esteem would have noticed the possiblity and then decided to not use it - life's but a game for you, eh? Grow up.

it beggars belief people are going to this length to cheat in a game thats meant to be just a bit of fun.

ok i can understand cheating in EU as you gain financially but whats the gain here?

 

In this comment in being neutral to wheter the cheating was ok or not.
But I have always enjoyed fiddeling with systems, tinkering and such, scripting would fit perfectly into that description.

I pretty much constantly tinker with one thing or another, I try to learn by tinkering.
Scripting, finetuning etc etc this game would be somethign I would have enjoyed to do because of this.

But I lack the skills to do such things.


I used to bot in runescape for example, but it wasn't as much as get a good character as it was to keep the bot going, it was a challenge and I enjoyed it. (it was damn slow, barely worked at the time and needed constant baby-sitting.)



So I can see why Akoz would cheat, script or whatever.

 

wiz: Clearly this upsets you. Had I known I'd ask a US friend to log in in my place instead. Either way as you point out I don't take this very serious and have no problem staying away from your game. Best of luck to you all.

 

"Normal" people need sleep - they can't take care of i.e. spending their gold immediately 24/7 - running a script while you're afk is clearly an unfair advantage, because this "option" is not available to every player.

 

I am upset because i have to waste my limited time on "educating the kids in the sandbox", we all know what is fair and what is not, why is it too much asked for that you all try to play fair, within the limits of a "fun game amongst friends"?

Those who suffer from your little stunts are the entire EP community, as it delays all the important things that we currently work onwhen i have to stop other things to find out how to stop you from doing what you did, how to delete an account w/o breaking everything, yada yada...



Furthermore, you have confirmed all the (negative) rumours about you, just because you wanted to win a little forum game... a major disservice, if you ever plan to run anything based on trust inside or outside of EU, people will think twice - was it really worth it?


And FYI:
The missing referer http token wouldn't have made a difference, i would've caught you nonetheless (it's not like you invented this kind of cheat, you know) - the missing token was just another nail for the coffin.
