So, we now have boats (and yes I have one to). To be honest they are much less fun then the cars so far and like the cars (or the hummer at least) the way it looks is a bit disappointing to me. It looks like it came standard with the CE2 package and it is not a boat that looks like it is from the future (where this game takes place) but more like the 1990's. So have been doing some search around the net and came across some nice looking boats or idea's for boats that suit this game much more > >
yep, any of those would look good i think...just seems silly that we have such "ancient" looking vehicles in a game that is supposed to be circa 3000 AD?
The Ady Gil is at the bottom of the S Atlantic. She started her career as a round-the-world racer, then was bought by Greenpeace to chase the Japanese whaling fleet. Ady Gil was rammed by (or deliberately rammed into) one of these Janaese "scientific" whaling ships and sank. Beautiful boat though For sheer bad-assed awesomeness on the water it is hard to beat the Soviet era ground-effect ships. You could move the whole soc in a few minutes from say PA to Minopolis.
May I poke you all with this: http://www.entropiaplanets.com/foru...cup-around-zomhattan-cup-call-volunteers.html :D
But none of these designs appear to be set up for water skiing or diving. The one we have now does. Maybe a sign of things to come? You know we won`t be not drowning underwater forever.
Not saying they need to look exactly like those boats, but they are for inspiration. I mean so many cool things can be done and what do we get a 1990's miami vice boat
You are right Razer. Paul Watson of Greenpeace left the organization to set up the more aggressive Sea Shepherd group.
I would love to see new and different types of boats, planes, vehicles, and spacecraft!! The white one, with the solar cells and the yellow one will do me just fine ;) I love Russian thinking.... not enough power... put 'nother engine on side... still not enough power.. put more engine on side..... too much power... mmmm ... add rocket to top!! Go big or go home!!
I disagree, the whole point of our situation on Calypso, is that we've lost the most advanced technology, or rather that their are a load of missing links. Until as a society we've built ourselves back up, we're making do with the best that our collective knowledge, economy and material gathering/processing abilities allow for. Of course as I write this, we're about to get some pretty tasty mammoth tanks, cruisers and helicopters - here's hoping it's for everyone and not just PvP group toys...
You guys really need to grasp the concept of what ma are trying to do here. EU is no longer one game, not entirely. These vehicles were seeing now, excluding the pitbull, are MA stock vehicles. EU isnt exclusiviely Sci-fi, its open to any genre the planet partners decide to use. Once planet partners start releasing more vehicles, we will then see what they think fits thier planet. Each planet now is a game in its own right. Dont like content/some content of x planet? Dont use it, nice and simple. EU = console Planet = Game You need to get used to that change, or eu will leave you behind. Thats a huge part of eu, change, and you need to enjoy it and be used to it to play. My two pecs, Stave
All those pics are nice... but they're all racing hydrofoils, not pleasure craft, not fighting or cargo craft. But hey, it looks like I got my request for a PBR! :)
They are AG, but not saying these boats need to be in game, just more exciting and futuristic ones. Even with the new ones they put in outdated ones, like the river boat and the tank, I mean common it's the 23 (?) century here come up with something better. why do we need a Vietnam style riverboat??
