  1. Hello to all EU members!:tiphat::tiphat:

My name is avi (in-game im known as darkmift dark secondus).

im 24 years old male from israel.

I heared about entropia by a very intresting thread about some very lucky individual who made a real estate bonanza on some asteroid and since then i got to tour a wee bit of entropia.

so far i have 0.94 PED and a sweat extractor:).

I realise i may have been a bit of a noob if i got to this kind of situation however i barely even know how to ask for help ingame.

I tried applying to "adopt a newbie foundation" and i have yet to recieve a reply(tbh it made me feel like im applying to a job).

I am not in the habit of begging or asking for freebies and tbh so far i own 2 wow accounts and 2 eve online accounts(about 60$ a month)and as much as those are fun to pass time with i see in entropia a much more sophisticated and mature game with far more to achieve in.

I dont mind putting cash where my mouth is but i'd be a fool spending money on something i know nothing about.

If there's a kind and patient soul out there willing to show me around i'd be more than willing to learn and pull my own weight for as much as i possibly can.
(i dont expect it to be free so if you have an offer plz let me know.just dont be a child about it)

There aint much point of me logging ingame atm but i do sniff about now and then.

p.s. If its something worth doing im willing to create a new avatar.

also plz accept my apologies for my english it is not my main language.
i speak hebrew and french aswell.

    looking forward to replies!

@this post or @dark_mift@yahoo.com<(my email AND msn)!!! :)

Welcome, Lots of helpful types around here, once they have finished their sticky buns I am sure they will be in here :)

  3. Well for now im here and i got time^^.

I was told there's a need for patience and things will obviously be slow at first:).

  4. Hi,

I'm sure a bunch of others will come with some nice replies. But welcome to the game! It has a steep learning curve. So whilst it might not seem productive compared to other games, I would recommend just spending time in game doing whatever. Sweating, missions, exploring - collecting TPs, searching for fruit or rocks on the ground. Doing so will just help you get basic skills, and an understanding of the economy. Both fairly important. And I'm sure you can find people who will answer whatever questions you may have also.

  5. well i dont know what TP is nor have i known i can gather fruits and stones:).
in game i get no help whats or ever so this forum for now is my main knowledge base for gathering information.
i am not that available for playing most of thew weekdays due to work and family stuff so wekends when gf's not nagging i can chill out a bit and walk about skilling(hopefully without getting killed)

now im off to read about tp's fruits and stones lol!

  6. Kay Jones

    Kay Jones who?

dying is no big deal, its not recorded or anything. in fact you can use it as a means of travel :D if you die in the are of a revival point you dont need to walk there ;)
take a look the revival maps here: Calypso maps - EntropiaPlanets Wiki - Information about Entropia Universe (click "full size image", not the image)
the blue dots are tps = teleporters. the dark blue dots are outposts with NO tp. the borders around them specify the revival zone. if you die within a zone you'll revive at it's revival point.

  7. RAZER

RAZER Custom title ... uh ...

    Welcome to EU and EP
One thing I can advise you is to read the beginners guide by Alice in Wonderland. That will help you on your way as a new colonist. You can find it here: rp.apachenet.de

other then that, information is the key to make it in this game, so read all you can (in this forum and the others en in the wiki we have here, but also in the other one out there). Also ask a lot of questions both in game an on this forum. Many of the Entropians are happy to help and have heard about any question possible I game already, so don't be shy either (there are no dumb questions, just dumb answers !).

Anyway good luck and hope to run into you in game sometimes.

  8. Thank you all for the warm welcome!

i will get to read that guide asap.

    Welcome Darkmift!
I can offer you very special sevice. I have a friend from Sweden. He is a bloody newbie (kinda 4 months ingame). But he managed to combine survive without deposit money and patience (meaning sweating and serious low level hunting). He is doing very well I guess. I am pretty sure he is willing to help you if you want.

  10. thats a great third option lol!:tiphat:

if you let me know whats his ingame name i will message him cause any help is great help imo:)

i was indeed looking to see about hunting and yesterday i spoke to an avatar named "mana" and got great help!
i was introduced to armor types and detailed info on mind force stuff and various application of those tools.

for now i think ill get to sweating because i was told thats a good way to get some skills up.
i also noticedtheres improved sweat extractors so ill look into those for now.

p.s. razer your link is handy but i dont know who maintains that site and some links made my AV go red for a while so heads up on that.
