I really am... I've been all over trying to find decent info on this place and have drawn a blank. After reading the "why you should go to ancient greece" thread I thought I might check it out. but I'm concerned about the equipment restrictions and cost. So in short can I be lazy and ask somsone to help me out? I'm on Calypso... I want to go to AG for a bit... Step by step instructions please including costs and what items I should/can take would be awesome or some sort of link to a guide maybe? If everything is disallowed I guess there is no point in me even considering what to take? I understand I can't even take that chunk of metal I keep in my head that makes me do the whirly things right? Any thoughts on what to do with Loot there would good too.... are there any people on NI these days? Also is it free to go to/from AG from NI? In short I don't have a clue... Wistrel
Well the NI n00b suit can be worn there and a chiton + sandals. Nothing can be equipped but the things from the tt on AG and ice dagger/sword, noob club perhaps, maybe slave sword. Still it's handy to take your items to NI anyways incase you like it there. I kinda liked NI despite the small population it had at the time. Came back to calypso for the migration actually. The bad part about AG is that the implant gets removed. Especially useless as MF chips cannot be equipped anyways. Costs you 4 ped to re-insert, which is why I went to AG only once :(
I'm looking forward to it but working on the 2.8 swordsman (hit) and (dmg) first so I'm at least reasonable with the axe when I go. http://www.entropedia.info/Info.aspx?chart=Weapon&name=Labrys Taken to using the TT longblade on creatures on NI that are easy enough for me to melee. Oh and after the quest 3 you get to go, and the 3 on the other side to get back, you have to buy time travel crystals on the auction, usually quite a few for sale. I grabbed 36 pretty cheap the other day, so with the 6 from the quest I have 7 round trips if I want.
