Version Update 14.1 Sneak Peek Since the upcoming Version Update and Planet Partner release has been postponed, we thought our participants might appreciate an early peek at some of the new features that Version Update 14.1 will bring. A new Quest Tracker interface will be implemented which, as the name suggests, makes tracking currently active quests a breeze. Another nice new feature is that the item information panel now displays the actual level of protection offered by unlimited armor parts which are below maximum TT value. A few of the other features you can look forward to in Version Update 14.1 include: Lower global thresholds for low-level creatures. Global messages when special rare items are looted. Introduction of planet-specific TEN Edition weapons. Please note that the features mentioned aboved are a small sample of what's to come, and that there are many other features and improvements included in Version Update 14.1. Not sure if I like the lower global threshold. It kinda gets the meaning out of a global, I mean "YEAH swirlies, crap it is just 20 PED"
20 PED? na, MA will make it 10PEDS get ready for the spam! So many globals we will not be able to chat anymore! :)
Na, you didn't miss much..I'm guessing due to the major bugs we been having this great year people are just going oh *** not another UPDATE with MORE features!!
hopefully they will address the spam issue somehow. I didn't like it when the hof thresh was lowered its still seems impossible to turn that off. I think its a good idea though, means the likes of a newb like me will get a global every now and again ;)
I don't like it, they will either come often that they don't mean anything now, or its like MA hush tactic "Here is a 15 ped global now be quiet" That and there is enough global/Hof spam in my chat window. Yes, I have the globals turned off. Just wish I could do that for the Hofs.
I'm guessing they were meaning the last few weeks in the time we haven't gotten any updates. I was expecting some big updates to come as of 2 weeks ago since MA had to put off the big update for the TEN edition items due to the great new avatar update issues. So as it stands..this week should be the big update and next week the PP big update. Of course they could consolidate the updates or, well, even put them off again for another 2 week!
so if there is lower global threshold on lower lvl mobs.... this mean u need a higher global threshold on mobs like levi and LT. Also what about mining and crafting... this should be also adjusted. I mean its obviously better to get IX unamped than XII with lvl13. I think the threshold should stay at 50 ped. Otherwise its getting too complicated.
