Well, it could be a both of bit, making the marathon the best walk ever. > And not sure about vegan chicken, but some rise would not hurt from time to time... And time will tell how this ComPet will turn out to be. We will come back later into this and see the results.
To get a interesting post back up again. In the old books they speak about "the beast" and that it comes with the number 666... So there is some truth in the words.
I did some quick strolling round the play store the other day for compet like game already existing. On the notion of "pet games" (think tamagochi) I saw tons... tons and tons... make no mistake, there are a LOT of these. This tells me 2 things: 1) there is(was?) clearly money in it 2) the market is probably saturated now i.e. MA is probably too late. I looked also for games that implied they were about raising and pitching pets against each other. There were a lot fewer of these (on first hack search anyhow) but still some existed at least. None likely had any tie to real money. So MA may have identified a secondary (or maybe tertiary) niche in a pre-saturated market that clearly showed promise financially at least at one stage. As to if the niche is significant enough to get anywhere or bring in any cash... well I guess it will depend on how much cash they chuck at marketing. Like everyone though I am sceptical about the quality of the game and how robustly it will interface with Entropia Universe. I don't think your casual gamer will be as forgiving to a pet game that repeatedly displays "connecting to server..." for minutes on end as the existing player base (who want to craft/auction on the move) has been with the Virtual Tycoon app. Wistrel
