Hi I started playing some days ago and I tried the missions in Calypso gateway. However I was expecting them to give some weapon but they only gave me ammo. Is this normal? If not, what should I do? Thank you, Rhen
Hi, I see this question alot, we really should add it to a faq list somewhere... I don't remember the right answer though, I think it is due to lag one of the npcs was supposed to give it to you and didnt. (cant remember for sure though) Are you still in the gateway, or have you already exited? If still in the gateway, try reloging and talking to all the NPCs again. As a starter you can help add info to our wiki so the next person with the same problem will have a solution :) http://www.entropiaplanets.com/wiki/Planet_Calypso_Missions I am not sure if the missions for the gateway are in here yet or not.
It would be apreciated indeed if you could help out getting the missing newbie nission in the wiki. People working on the wiki all have already done them and were not contributing to the wiki at that time, and as you might know, it is not allowed to create a second avatar so you can do them again. Oh and welcome to the forum of course !
Some guy helped me out and gave me a weapon. I suppose it was due to lag or still downloading stuff. Because the first time I couldn't talk with any npc and then e re-logged and received the ammo (though, not the weapon unfortunately)
Well you are starting at a difficult time, MindArk is in the process of replacing some servers (as far as we know because they crashed) and we are running on spare parts they found in boxes in the attic. With the new servers we should see A LOT less lag, so hang in there and all will be better soon.
I know when I tried Thule missions I didn't get the gun (but it was beta then). However I did when I talked to the NPC at the beach in Half Moon bay. You could always try heading there at some stage (in fact I recommend it cause its a nice are and the sabakuma tunnel mission is fun)
