Question for me is if you spend this universal ammo (or the guns they will no doubt put in there at some stage) end up in the lootpool or is this a way to let us spend money without having to return it to us (part of it) in the form of loot?

So why is a new store front opened in addition to the one perfectly established? That does cost money = deposited PED to create and maintain. Why not selling packages in game? I guess, when you deposit 100 dollar the fees attached to the method of payment are deducted from that 100 dollar but if you buy something for 100 dollar about the same fees come on top of that.
I think there are advantages to selling on the web. Normally the more available your product, the more likely people are to buy it.
Yes, of course all marketing peculiarities do apply here, although it's questionable whether availability/accessibility of web shop items is greater because one has to manage those and additional items in game anyway. Also the web shop and the in-game shop are competing for the same budget.

amagawd Webshop! Potions and magic loot spells soon ? Diamond packs ? Life Insurance ? MindBank accounts ? Shares ? Yes, I was just going to ask this here before reading your post. But more, would the non depositing effect your overall loot return? By MA going this route the system doesn't registrar your deposit so the loot will not be effected (if such a system is in place).
Well, they've always denied that such a system is in place. On the other hand, there must be something in place ensuring that EU is not plain gambling. In that case they soon can shut down the regular depositing system Are the "Autoloot Pills" in any way different from the "Default Loot Collection Pills" available in TT?
Well, that's why I'm asking, because 1000 PED ammo plus 10 PED pills + 50 x H-DNA for 100 bucks actually can't be true. But even if was just 1000 PED ammo for $100 and 'only' 980 PED to repair melee for the same $100 that could be considered as new factor in melee vs laser/blp weapon eco.
No reason they can't give more than 100% exchange on the dollar as long as it is not ttable AND it stays below 110% (Based on a game wide 90% or lower return average per cycle.) It could actually be a smart move in encouraging people to deposit more, if they feel they are getting more bang for their buck.
Selling ammo that can not be TTéd and traded feels just not right. To say it blunt out, "they" can already use up their share since it is locked and can only be used up... And yeah again, autoloot pills... errhmm... :)
Well, if they started adding PED cards to this webstore, then I would certainly make use of it as opposed to direct depositing with my CC. Currently, I lose $3.50 USD each time I make a $100 USD deposit (thats 965ped after the transaction). According to Support (when I queried them about it a while back) this 3.5% charge is from the CC companies and not pocketed by MA, but passed direct to Visa/Mastercard etc....plus you can add on an exchange charge from your provider as well if you are not in the US....so for every $100 USD deposit you make, you are getting far less than the 1000ped you should. However, if they sold a PED card for $100 USD on the web store and you actually got 1000ped in return then IMO it would be a far better value for money, and at least then the only charge would seem to be the exchange charge at your provider.
