SEEs annoucement of their Asterix Browsergame in 2012, in partnership with the german Telekom, indeed leads to a "Asterix and Friends" browsergame, that has a "(c) 2014 SEE Games LLC" :

While the game is developed by austrias Studio "Sproing GmbH", I bet SEE is only involved because of the Asterix copyright whatever who knows and so on.

The "Total Recall" (planet) finally got launched on 1st july of 2013...in china :

But again, really all you need to do is look at the SEE home page..it's kind of funny with all the games and other tour services. It's almost a dream company.

This unknown company had access to the titanic, and Star Trek? Along with rights to Micheal Jackson (you know how much that would cost alone) Men in Black, WaterWorld (ok well, can see that) and Total Recall. All that would cost so much that well, this little unknown company most likely never had the money for all this..and here's a big test for all, report these titles to the owners and I bet you that this website will be taken down next week.

 

Also what I found odd about this company is that it had so many other names with it as well plus the main site has over 50 other domain names. But the company here, SEE Digital Studios AB is, sorry, was the sub-company of SEE that had control of Calypso. Need to keep in mind that this bankruptcy could have been part of a bankruptcy scam as well.

Well that was your choice knowing about bugs and stuff that needs fixing, Now Mindark has a choice to fix them or not fix them
Don't complain because this is a high risk Software.

But at the end of the day this Shit still happens we are all still here because people get addicted follow the sheep heard and don't open their mouth and rise up as a selective and take action against MA be it whatever Law suite or even hacking to bring those servers offline for a while to make our voices heard.
Mindark wont last long I can guarantee that they will go down either way by bankruptcy or by force from the people players, yes I am a hater of MA but I still play this shit people can only take so much.

To me MA messed up everything moving to cry engine 2 they should have gone to cry engine 3 worst company decision ever did the players get to vote for a engine upgrade ? well MA think about them self again.

Hmm interesting about hacking. I seem to be hearing of more and more targeted DDoS these days against all sorts of "unusual" things. It's unlikely though, unless someone from a hacker community who was involved in such things joined Entropia and got pissed. As for in game protests, I only remember one.

Now here is a question... we have mass channels of in game communication now so in theory, organising a protest should a lot easier. The question is, would anyone dare? Or would they worry their account might suffer if they tried to do something like this? Personally I think I would be concerned.

As for MA going down. I don't believe the ship is sinking yet. I do suspect they could do with a lot less Big Cheeses on the pay role though. They probably need to cull a few of those and get a few devs or artists in place of them. Of course this is just a guess though.

My biggest investment in this game has been in CLDs - the above is my worst nightmare!

What if MA suddenly decide that CLDs are worthless? Like when people used to spend $$$ on Taming skills or buying Motherships etc... Will they simple de-value them at the drop of a hat? How can you know for sure?

It would certainly be a dark day.

 

Considering they already removed your 'ownership' of those deeds, it's possible (even if unlikely) that such a dark day is on the way...

 

... This is terrifying! It leaves so much risk it's almost not worth investing at all. CLDs though I think are slightly different in the sense that there must be litterly 1000`s of players (and probably 100% of key players) "holding them". Surely they won't screw over people on such a scale?

 

actually funny enough the shower cabins are fixed now lol :D

on the NI stuff the NI official were given all the deeds and were told they cant all be released till each one approved by mindark based on populaton etc. However it was not understood and communicated to all the team.

THEN they released a pile anyhow because there was agreements made to pay some developers in deeds before the world was even in game.

Mindark stepped in on that after and it all went downhill.

 

While TOU, TOS and EULA already implied that...this "change" made it final. o_O
