I'm wondering why there has been no press release from MA about the new world record for a virtual property. 3.3million ped for CP set by Buzz... Have they forgotten to do the release? Or are they waiting for something? It's awefully quiet on that side, no news articles about it at all, Why? I would have thought newsbots at EP and EF would be spamming the forums with articles but nope..not a single article !

That is a good one D, :) but you are right. Many people are on holiday. Besides, when Entropia has such a great community like here on EP, why rush? They have all the press and support they need. :)

Putting out a press release right now would be silly. It's not just about MA/FPC staff being on holiday, but also about everyone else being on holiday. Better to wait till after New Year when people get back to work, when there will be more chance of getting a story placed and more chance of it being read.
LOL sounds like peops on holliday never touch their PCs and laptops according to what youre saying. Mabe relevant for the staff at MA. But everyone else still do follow newsworthy stuff online whilst on holliday and during hollidays gamers have more time to play. :p
MA/FPC got what they needed from the sale for 2009; a financial shot in the arm before the 2009 books were closed. They may wait for Jan 1 for press coverage to show lots of new users in 2010. Nicely timed, eh?
There was a small small article online about the sale on Aftonbladet which contained nothing special besides a mix of uninformed journalism and false info that EU's BNP is bigger than some nations in africa which was blatantly proved otherwise by the newspapers readers Only thing in the article referring to the game besides the normal uninteresting stuff about CND sale and TI was "Crystal Palace has monsters with valuable fur"
Anyone know what the tax is set to on CP? Activity seems way way down compared to before and a friend of mine said there is not even 5 people up there in total
I'm guessing they have problems enough with the HUGE stream of newbies joining the game already without an official press release. So they might wait untill they are officially added to the Guinness World Records and get a second stream.
