I tried out the game a couple of times - and even though I can see what is attractive there (awesome graphics etc.) I hate the warping. And my IQ is just not high enough for it :D I do know a lot of Entropians plays the game too tho ... I'm sure you meet some :)
hey Tussi, sad to hear you are leaving. Havent played Eve (well about 5 minutes), but did you look at any other games. I have tried a bit of Anarchy Online and I think it could be a nice game. Yep! I have two accounts, one a miner and the other a pewpew LOL. Look for the DEEP 13 corporation Eve is the best game going, IMO. EU is a sick joke in comparison. Check out Age of Conan too if you haven't already. That one's pretty cool too.
I tried it. Didn't like not being able to get out of the ship and walk around. I guess all those paper and pen RPGs, and then Activisions Battlezone ( a groundbreaking game for 1998, combined tank combat, FPS, and RT strategy all in one!)spoiled me that way.
I play EVE sometimes, but I am a very sporadic player mostly becuase I want to get a group of people together to produce and smuggle boosters.
Got 4 Eve accounts with 1 of those inactive atm... been playing Eve almost as long as I've been in and around EU (Sept 06) Eve (Dec 06)... these are the only 2 MMO style games I've played with any great degree of involvement
Been playing EVE for 5 years. I once made a channel in game called Entropians in EVE and made a post on EF but there seemed to be little interest as no one ever joined the channel. Name is: Mystrin Micro, Gallente Dreadnaught / Carrier pilot
I think it may have just been timing. I have only been around EvE long enough to get up to Assault Frigates. My account is inactive, but if I could find a group of people that want to go out to 0.0 and try to build a booster empire. I would give the game another go.
