    PRESTIGIOUS SHOPPING MALLS FOR SALE

Great Business Opportunity for Virtual Entrepreneurs as Entropia Universe offers Three Turnkey Shopping Malls for Public Auction

In conjunction with the release of Version Update 8.8, three Shopping Malls will be made available for purchase through the public auction on Calypso. The Shopping Malls will be located in some of Calypso's busiest trading regions: Port Atlantis, Twin Peaks and a newly discovered outpost on the Amethera continent called Emerald Lakes.

The Shopping Malls will be sold with a Land Area, the owner receiving a 2.5% land owner sales tax. The Port Atlantis and Twin Peaks Land Areas are the size of the Malls themselves, while the Emerald Lakes Mall will be located on a larger Land Area including Creature and Mining Spawning and a Fertilizer Station.

Clearly visible from the main teleporters at each location, the Shopping Malls will have an entrance at both ends with Revival Terminals located close to each entrance. Two Advertising Pilars will also be available outside each entrance where Signs and Screens can easily be placed.

    Each Mall will include:
    • A spacious central aisle on each of the three shopping floors.
    • Eighteen medium sized shops, each with a display window. Six on each floor.
    • Eighteen large sized shops, each with a display window plus a display podium in the central aisle. Six on each floor.
    • Three Trade Centers with an Auctioneer, Technician, Trade, Society and Repair Terminals, Storage Facilties, an Ad Screen, Tailoring and Construction machines. One Trade Center on each floor.

    • A fourth floor housing a public teleporter and a public balcony. The top floor of each Mall also contains a private penthouse appartment for the Mall owner, complete with a large private balcony overlooking the busy locations.
    • The roof of each Shopping Mall also has two spacecraft landing pads for future use.

Wow this looks very cool. I hope this indicates good things are coming back into EU.
And sounds like Amethera has expanded a little more also. :)

16 views and no replies. Interesting. LOL

  4. I hope they are visited more often than those in the CND shopping mall.

And the looks if it are great! :ok:

    I want one !

    *Checking bank account: ...

Hmmm.. better go for something else.

  5. I think they're a great idea. It's always been too hard to find shops, and this will hopefully make it easier.

I do feel sorry for the existing shop owners though - their investments have just gone in the bin... :(

    Shopping Malls

    Shopping Malls

    Hi,

A few extra points about the upcoming Shopping Malls auction.

    1. When the auction is over, the new owner will receive all the deeds for the shops in the Mall.
    2. The Maintenance Fee for shops in the Malls will be greater than for existing shops in order to support trade in the already existing shopping areas.

By the way, that was only a little preview of VU 8.8. We have lots more content on it's way.

    Regards,
    Development Team

  7. Yes I hope MA will give us something that add the gameplay:Sniper:, not just for spending peds.

  8. Scary.. more places to shop, Me who cant visit auction without something extra in my inventory already...now i probably have to deposit a little shopping peds every month also :D

  9. This is great and it will be fun tolookaround these new places - but I can't help feeling sorry for those guiys who coughed up a lot of cash for the now less accessible, small and remote shops that barely anybody wil bother with any longer.

Surely this is just another sgn that MA are trying to do mega-deals instead of working on the grass roots of the EU economy: traders, crafters etc.

So, I definitely have a mixed reception for this and evenless so now would I inestin virual property just to have the rug pulled from under me!
