Hi, I'm a brand new resident of Calypso as of 2 hours ago. I've been waiting to join up once I replaced my old computer with a nice shiney new one, and today's the big day!

I am a mature and respectful, but often silly & slap-happy humored player. I am an analytical thinker, and pay incredible amounts of attention to my environment, making every decision with care and forethought.

I am able to be online quite often, daily.


What do you seek for in the community/society:

I could use a hand getting adjusted and acclamated to life in Entropia. I am interested in exploring every facet of the game I possibly can with the help of a mentor to facilitate the process.


What kind of help are you hoping to get by joining a society:

As I mentioned above I am mainly just looking for mentorship to answer questions I may have, show me to various towns, and help me with tips and hints to make my new experiences as easy and fun as possible.


What are your own contributions to make this happen:

Being appreciative, attentive, and active. I am willing to contribute as much as a newbie possibly can! Thanks for considering me!

Lykke, Lykke, Lykke!

I have some news, good and bad!
The bad first:
I've not been able to log in (as I said in my hello post) due to my terrible uni not letting it on their connection. :(
The good news:
Death Unlimited (led by Luke Dalas Cambridge) have accepted me into their society! I started talking to them on EF, and then they found me at Ithaca killing Snables, and, apparently, they had recently been displaced as their old "home" had been shifted, and they were looking for a new one, so they made Ithaca their home :D

I didnt know this. I even checked through the thread, though apparently not thorougly enough to see that.

 

I sense some confusion here. I think Lykke is so busy running around after all you newbies up for adoption and everything else related to the project, that she didn't quite make the connection between Amoeba's news and the soc who "stole" you already, which are actually the same one, my soc.

Amoeba: I already told Lykke you were stolen (it was great to see your post though!).

Lykke: Yes, the soc he mentions in his post is actually the SAME soc who stole him before.

Hope it clears things up. Basically, Amoeba is miiiiiine!

Fear not, I am here to help her out with the running around :)

Personal advantages: I'm very social, always willing to accept and give help, and I'm usually pretty quick at picking games up.

What do you seek for in the community/society: I'm looking for people that can help me learn pretty much all aspects of the game, have a great sense of humor, and aren't offended easily (I make crude jokes often). I really have no idea what I'm doing in this game yet. Fiddled around for about 30 mins and didn't really accomplish anything.

What are your own contributions to make this happen: Not be an ass to the people helping me out is all I can really offer at this point in time. As noted above, I just started playing this game today, so I don't know what people need or want.
