  1. I'm a greenhand in the game...

    Firstly,don't tell me deposit ...

Because i want to do it by myself in the Game...

Some ppl suggest me to gather sweat...

I just want to know, are there any other ways toget PED?

    :D Thx my dear montor!

    give me some suggestions....Plz!

  2. Yep sweating is good to start out with, as it gives you defensive skills when being attacked by the creatures. So if you for example want to be a hunter, sweating is a good start not only for the sweat.

Mindark is also mentioning collecting fruits, however you only find them randomly on the ground while walking (not running!). So see this more like a side job when doing other things ;)

Another thing you probably have heard is collecting oil from the oil rig. I think you can forget this though.. Nowadays, if you even can make it there, you will probably get killed (it's a Player vs Player area). If you are that lucky no one else is there at the same time as you are there, there is still not much oil coming out and it comes out rather seldom.

Then there is of course trading. You can for example start with buying some unrefined enmatter or ores. Then refine it and sell it for a little bit more than you bought it for. Or maybe buy all parts of an armor set seperately and then sell the full set, and earn some peds this way.
Simple reselling, like buying one thing and then selling it for a higher price is commonly frowned upon though. But if you have provided a service, like refined something or put together a full set of armor, at least I think it's worth paying more for it.

    Hope this helps!

  3. hoho ~_~ ...

    so complex...

Just a freshman, taht's difficult for me...

    are there any simple methods?

For Mindark and Trading ,the two ways exist a certain fluky mind...

I need a way which deal with concrete matters relating to work ...

no matter what, thx UnaAlconbury very much!

  4. ha,you give me a good suggestion...

  5. Hi King1st and welcome to the forum :)

Unfortunately you can't have it both ways! Making money is complicated IRL, and so it should be in EU.
If it was easy, we'd all be doing it? EU would then not exists because MA could not make any money :)

An economy depends on those that are happy to spend money. To make money you must exploit these people, or provide them a unique service to make them flock to you.

So, either deposit and have fun, or work hard at sweat and trading - which in itself can be fun... Take no notice of anyone that says you are doing something wrong by trying to make PEDS - unless you are scamming in which case you ARE doing something wrong LOL.

All the best of luck ;)

I heard of people getting "jobs" selling for crafters - but you need to get a good trust relationship for this... some traders may sell you things at TT price which you could try to sell for a markup - but it would only be a low markup for lots of selling efforts.

For example I can make clothes (basic ones) but they sell for a very low profit, so I give them to the trade terminal (TT) at minimum price - I would be happy to sell them to another player for the same price, and oyu may be able to sell them for a little profit.

Sure - we just need to meet up - when I am playing I am often in Genesis services from about 2000 MA Time (or you may find someone there who has me in friends list). I am on holiday for a week now though, so we will have to arrange somethign when I get back.

  9. After getting all my TP's, I started offering my services as a runner for uber hunters in return for any small consideration from loot that they gained. I tried sweating before that, but found that it took ages to get any decent amount of sweat, and so I thought of being a runner.
Basically, you team-up in the usual way, you go to where the hunter wants you to go, and you act as a decoy for big mobs...

  10. Does that still work? I thought these days that mobs went after the people shooting at them rather than the decoys...

    Erach.

  11. Yeah I think you are right, it seems like they go after the one who inflicts the most damage. At least that's what I have noticed when hunting in teams.

  12. I'm going back to when I started in May 06, but in any case, it only really works if the hunter has very good armour/fap and as powefull and long ranged weapons as possible.

Yes, the mob will eventually go after the person firing, but the trick is for the hunter to get in a few good, well aimed shots whilst the mob is still going after the runner; ideally accross the hunters field of view, but even if the mob is going away from the hunter.
