Ok people, Last night i unlocked Marksmanship, (Missed it completly for Screeny only noticed when i started getting skill messages), but once i noticed i noticed that I SUCK AGAIN!!! I cant hit anything like i was. Now im not sure if it was marksmanship of if it is because ive changed my gun which i also did. I went from a Maxed out Breer M3a to a maxed out Riker UL1. I seem to be doing less damage then i was with the Breer and hitting less. I tryed the breer again and it diddnt seem to help. Ok so my question really is does marksmanship do anything but hurt you hit percentage and damage? I am hoping itll get better as the skill goes up but I feel taken advantage of in ways i dont want to go into. Let me know your thoughts.
Hehe I believe it's not the MMS that is the reason for your problems. Seems odd that you get lower damage than before with the same weapon. Have you had this for a longer while? I guess it will even out over time. What MMS does is contributing to a lot of hunting professions. Look here for the full list.
marksmanship is something deal with aim, that what i heard but don't think that markmanship is the problem for dmg, i have 1k markmanship and i haven't get any problem with dmg or something else
Maybee its just my mind playing tricks on me. I was only hunting for 30 min or so with MMS so ill continue and see.
I'd guess it's due to the weapon change, if you had the breer maxed out it means you had a hit abilitly of 10/10. The riker is probably lower, but you're getting skills much faster. Not sure why it didn't help to switch back to the breer. Both weapons are similar in the amount of damage they should inflict, so it's based on the skills you have with the weapons that will make the biggest difference in the performance of the gun.
Well Both the breer and the riker are at 10/10 so i would think the change should be minimal if maxed out means maxed out truely. im not sure since i hit MMS at the same time as i upgraded to my riker. not truely sure really. too many variables to isolate the true source i guess.
When I unlocked marksmanship (I'd like to say it was ages ago but it wasn't really!) not long afterwards I chipped about 1k in it - and it seems to make a really positive difference. It does seem strange that you saw your rate fall at this point, but stranger things happen. Keep working in this skill and you'll find it will pay off nicely.
