Thanks guys for some great fun, sure was an exciting ending after we saw what kind of boss it was. I think it was the first encounter with a Big Bulk for all of us, and I must say it was a little easier than I thought, even though we had to sacrifice Mora ;) :D

One man down, plus a quite tricky level order with maze directly after the entering level for example, but we still managed to loot all the boxes it seems. Too bad loot was not great this time though, but hopefully will be better next time. And I'm definitely up for another one! I do believe we can try the harder 35 pedder as well, basically only the boss who caused us any trouble on this one.

Big thanks to Mora for organising this it was a lot of fun, a real shame he was the only one of us not to make it to the end, I blame myself for that :(, sorry Mora.

I had taken time to prepare, it had been a long time since my Ghost had seen the light of day, I had even bought myself a gun, not sure which one though, it turned out to be next to ineffective so that will be on auction today :).

I found healing and shooting to be difficult so with the gun being virtually useless concentrated on the healing. There was one close call when Phunksta was being attacked, neither he nor I could see what was shooting at him but we both just repeatedly healed and between us managed to keep him alive until whatever it was was disassembled by the rest of the team.

The discovery of the Big Bulk at the end was a surprise to us all and I think the decision as to wether we destroy it or leave it took longer than the rest of the mission. I for one am glad we went for it after much debate, it may not have added much to the loot but it was clearly a challenge for the team and that has to be a good thing. I was healing MoH and Una at the time, Mora was a fair way from me in order to try and get the thing to move between us, I did see his life bar drop and bagan the run toward him but it was too far and I was no where near when he went down so I returned to my assigned duties. The combat did not last very long considering how tough the thing was supposed to be, just goes to show how much firepower was in the group.

I managed to open all 6 boxes on the top level, only two of which contained anything. I was well on my way to the first level when the ship exploded and the mission ended.

After Mora, Nutter, Una and myself went and tried the Second Entities but that's another story.

 

And many thanks for that! I thought my number was up! I get the feeling it was a trooper that I stupidly took an early pot-shot at :Sniper:

I'm really glad we took out the boss - it turned a mission with a dissapointing haul of loot into something to remember! I hope lending my ghost to slarty helped, I tried to heal him best I could and seemed to avoid taking any hits from the boss (good job as I was without armour).

And to top it all off, right at the end Red started having the Baby! I had to han dover the loot quickly and leg it to go help her.
She's still coming now so wish us luck ;)
