At 19:00 UTC on Wednesday, August the 13th, an undercover agent that has infiltrated the ranks of the Rx Units will attempt to pass advanced Rx technology over to colonist militia. Based on a unique electrolyte compound, the technology greatly enhances the firepower of almost any weapon.

Our government agent requests colonist militia protection from Rx Units while he tries to pass the technology to the colonist that reaches him at the RxBase in PvP1.

Kill shots on Rx Units will be rewarded at Twin Peaks and one colonist will escape with a weapon utilizing the new technology.

Hmmmm Let me see if I can guess who will get this gun and who will end up with it LOL. Putting guess in a sealed envelope and storing till later :D

 

where would we find these rx units

 

Very interesting, could be a new super duper gun perhaps...

And as it is the kill shot that is rewarded, quite many will have a chance. Just arm yourself with a rifle and find a good spot ;)

Seems like in PvP1 (the PvP area in west Eudoria, NW of Port Atlantis) ;)

 

The RX units are found in PVP 1. They have a base camp there, as stated by UNA :D

 

Decided to go for a reccy... does this look like it might be a base? (3978, 11376)

 

think you hit the wrong spot. I can remember a base with fence and large antenna, I walked on it

hmm am I the only one here, not really understanding what to do in this event?

 

This is how I understand it; just like previous RX Units events, there will be MA controlled avatars (the RX Units) running around in PvP1 with uber guns and armor. If you managed to do the killshot on any of these avatars, you will get a prize from another MA avatar that is standing in Twin Peaks. It is usually a full TT Korss H400(L) or something similiar. This time however, one lucky guy gets something special it seems:

"... and one colonist will escape with a weapon utilizing the new technology."

After re-reading the EBN message, (and this line in particular: "Based on a unique electrolyte compound, the technology greatly enhances the firepower of almost any weapon") my guess is that it will be some kind of universal amp, that can be attached to all type of guns. Yummy!

 

go to PVP1, kill RX units, and try to reach the man in the middle for the new technology.
But I think this is resvered to some very ubers.
So go to PVP1 and try to get a kill shot on a RX unit. The kill shot counts, nothing else!
So perhaps you are lucky to report to the offical at Twin a kill shot and you will be rewarded.
That is perhaps not fair to the ones that started killing the unit. But this happens all the time in this lovely game.

Actually it is very simple. You have to spend PED. That's all there is to it :hehe: :D
