I agree Stratos. I just lost a bundle on a little maff run. :-( If all I lost was that I would think I won hehehe.

Hmmm seems to be a language problem here I am thinking. Sorry Cantbe that you lost 45 peds BUT no one was making fun of you for it. But lets put it in perspective. When I go mining I buy 150.00 peds worth of bombs and probes. I have on occasion lost up to 75%. I have many times went hunting with 100.00 peds ammo and come back with 20 peds worth of residue or whatever and that was before repairs. You have yet to fall on MA hard times. And yes a 45 ped loss in a day is not unusual. But I DO NOT and WOULD not make fun of anyone loosing money and this was my way of trying to make you feel a little better about the whole thing. As for The Forsaken being a rich society that could not be farther from the truth. We are probably one of the poorest.

 

I had typed a long explanatory response to this last night, but the power went off here before I could post it. So today I will try again, although this response will be much more direct, as I need to leave soon for work.

Bunny asked people to post globals so as to add to the interest and entertainment in this forum, and because it is always nice to see people having nice loots in EU. Four people responded that they had NO globals to post. The banter between Stratos and Bunny was their little grumble about the ongoing bad loots from MA, and was certainly not aimed at you. Nobody begrudges you getting nice loots, no matter how much or little you deposit. I am sure you will agree that their comments were as harmless and meant in fun, as your comment "well done - don,t make a habit of it-leave some for the rest of us" in response to these globals by Suncatch:

The irony I think is that you have been so fortunate to gain almost a dozen globals in the past 3 months ( about half of your 22 posts here are regarding globals ) yet you ask longer playing members to agree you are having a bad day? Nobody is amused to see you lose peds, but people who haven't had any global in 3 months might tend to think that you had a very good day.
Looking at the globals for the past 100 days, it is interesting also to see how many people Gratz'd and posted comments of Congratulation when you posted globals. People are happy to see you doing well, and happy to post their congratulations. Sadly I couldn't find many Gratz or posts by you congratulating others. Hmmm

PS: Today I learned that the power here was out for 12 hours, because last night a car hit a power-pole nearby. The occupants of the car died in the resulting fire. Life is short, EU is just a game for pleasure and entertainment. If EU bothers you, go outside and take pleasure walking in the fresh air.
