I went north of West Habitat again today to torment the ugly thorifoids some more. It turned into a fantastic afternoon hunt, with five globals on Elder, Devastator and Seeker Thorifoids. One loot contained a Topaz gemstone, another contained an ESI. The rest was oil, residue and skins. :pulp: :Sniper::handgun::Sniper::pulp:

Yes it is Viking armour, which is very effective against the cold damage from Thorifoids, but is pretty useless against the thorafoid, thorofoid and thorios that also lurk around this area, so I still have to be careful if those mobs decide to swarm me.
Yeah I checked it out now, 50 in cold protection! Nice Sweden colors too, yeay! ;) Do you have a few different armor sets that you use for different mobs?
Also I forgot to say thankyou for the gratz - so Thankyou for the gratz. :) Yes I have a few sets of armour which give better protection for particular mobs, and I wear them if I am hunting and want to kill as many mobs as possible per hour, which sometimes seems to help loots improve. The hunting is faster because I don't need to heal as often. Other days I wear light armour, or no armour, and then the hunts are slower because I spend more time fap healing. The loots are usually lower on these hunts, but I gain more healing and evade type skills.
Hmm, interesting observation! I have been thinking of having (at least later on) different armors specialized on different damage types, instead of one overall protecting armor (ghost for example). Always good hear from someone who has experience from it!
