It is taking a lot of time and ammo, but I'm slowly managing to loot the footguards to go with my armour sets. Tonight the ambulimax were very helpful in giving me these ThunderBird footguards. With each footguard type, once I have looted the one part I need, I move on to a different mob and armour type, and hopefully this leaves enough footguards to be looted by other hunters trying to complete their armour sets. :D
The mobs who drop harness also seem to drop the foot guard of the same armor type. http://entropiaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84125
