Today I had another great min... ahem, HP skilling day. I decided to give a 104 amp a try to raise my skill speed a bit, might not be that many days left of the 2x event I thought. Although, I said that over a week ago too lol... Anyway, after a so so start without anything spectacular for almost 60 probes, a Huge (XVIII) Typonolic Steam suddenly popped up: I did sense something was on the way looking at my last few claims before the hof, but I had not expected something this big. I had only time to drill half of it up before I had to log off, so decided to continue with it and the rest of the run later during the evening. A few hours later I returned, pulled up the rest, and as I weighted several hundreds of kilos I jumped back to storage to unload. I almost decided to stop my min... ahem, HP skilling right there; I got asked to join a few soc mates for a hunt and I did not really feel for continuing my run, mining is boring you know.. ;) But I did go back out eventually. Thought I could just as well skill on as the event can be over anyday. Good decision: If I had sensed something before the first hof, this one came out of nowhere. :D Another Huge (XVIII) claim, this time Azur Pearls. So, a great HP skilling day indeed. I gained 1/4th HP and went up just over 2 levels in the Driller profession while drilling these two babies up. :miner: :D
