2009-12-11 - 2nd place in FPC Exa event!

Tried my luck in todays FPC Exarosaur hunting event at OLA #51 and grabbed 2nd prize!




Which should sell for around 2.5k PED in total according to auction history!



It was a highest single loot wins event, and I managed the second highest loot with a 144.13 PED Estophyl. Yes, Estophyl lol... It turned out that Estophyls were spawning in small numbers close to one of the borders inside the event LA, and as the chance of getting a high tt loot from Estophyl Guardians - Old Alphas are quite better than from Exarosaur Youngs most hunters headed that way... ;)

As a matter of fact and not too surprisingly the top 3 all scored from Estos. Which caused a bit of a ruckus in the event chat channel towards the FPC event organiser to say the least. Mostly from people that can't kill those Estos, and I totally understand them as even the event title said "Exarosaur hunting event" :p

The event also had an additional rule; all event loot was added to an event loot pool which was given to the winner. This means if you were one of the 97 that landed outside the top 3 you walked away totally empty-handed. So it was quite a gamble and I didn't spend more than the 50 PED of ammo I had decided for before the event started. Luckily it paid out for me!

The winner, Slapnuts Slapnuts Smith scored a 169 PED Estophyl and was awarded with the event loot pool of almost 7k PED in addition to the guaranteed 1st prize of Salamander Harness SGA, M and F. Very sweet and grats to him!
